Returnees robbed again in Klina (RTK2)

Returnees have been robbed again in Klina/Klinë last night.. Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government, Dalibor Jevtic, condemned the incident and requested immediate reaction of the police. A tenant who lives in the house of a Serb returnee Silvija Raskovic said to RTK2 that thieves have stolen mechanization for tractor and various tools. Jevtic stated that thieves in this municipality must be stopped immediately, because it is about intimidation of returnees and those who wish to return.

Odalovic: 1.654 persons still missing in Kosovo and Metohija (Politika)

There are 1.654 persons still missing in Kosovo and Metohija, amongst whom and 535 Serbs and other non-Albanians, said the chairperson of the Serbian Government’s Missing Persons Commission, Veljko Odalovic, on the commemoration of 16 years from kidnappings and killing of more than 50 civilians in Istok/Istog Municipality in Metohija.

“It is about huge figure, no matter that we managed to resolve 1.700 cases,” said Odalovic at a commemoration labeled “Sad Reminder on Innocent Victims from Istok in June 1999”.

MPs from Serbia and Kosovo to meet in Pristina (RTK2)

The Municipal Assembly of Drenas/Glogovac, dominated by advisers from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has just voted a statement, which appeals on the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo not to vote the constitutional amendments which open way to the establishment of the special court.

This position is in contradiction with the determination of the central structures of PDK with regards to this court.

Representatives of Serbs in the Kosovo government have most sharply condemned the attack on returnees in Klina/Kllinë.

Kosovo Deputy prime Minister Branimir Stojanović, Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić and Minister for Local Government Administration Ljubomir Marić said that yesterday’s incident when complete poultry had been stolen from seventy-four year old Kata Grujić, in village Donji Petrić in Klina/Kllinë Municipality is an effort aiming at expelling the granny from her property.
