The Assembly of Kosovo and Metohija to Vucic: Stop negotiations with Mustafa (Vesti)

Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija in a letter to Serbian Prime Minister protested against his creation of situation in the country as dramatic and expressed concern that it is about "preparing public opinion for new concessions which will mean a total surrender of Kosovo and Metohija." - The Constitutional Court found that regulations on cadastre, birth registers and diplomas are not in conformity with the Constitution of Serbia, as well as that the Brussels agreement is political agreement and as such cannot produce legal effects - the Assembly of Kosovo and Metohija

Niue recognizes Kosovo (Koha)

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci writes on his Facebook account today that Niue, an island country in the South Pacific Ocean, has recognized the independence of Kosovo. “Last night I received a verbal note from Toke Talagi, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Niue, for the recognition of Kosovo and the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. The sovereign vote of Niue in agencies such as the UNSECO, WTO and the WHO, will help Kosovo secure the required majority for membership of the United Nations agencies,” Thaci writes.

Vucic: Substantial agreement important during Brussels dialogue (RTS)

Delegations of Belgrade and Pristina today started talks in Brussels under the auspices of the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini. Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that substantial agreement on the Association/Community of Serb municipalities, along with telecommunication, energy and ‘Peace Park’ is of the outmost importance for the Serbian Government.

Dacic: We will not recognize Kosovo in any way, shape or form (IRS)

In the eve of the next round of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels, Serbian Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic stated that Serbia’s positions remains unchanged, that the Serbian side will be constructive but will not recognized unilaterally proclaimed Kosovo’s independence in any way, shape or form. We expect progress but not at the expense of our national interests, Dacic told the press at the International Fair EXPO 2015 in  Milan.

Stojanović expects progress with regard to creation of the A/CSM (TV Pink, RTK2)

Creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) is of the outmost importance because it is necessary that there is an institution that would gather all Serbs in Kosovo, said Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović.

Stojanoivc said to RTV Pink that, in the forthcoming meeting of the prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo on 22 June in Brussels, he expects progress in terms of the establishment of the A/CSM and agreement on its shape and way of functioning.

Serbs selling property and leaving Kosovo (Radio 021)

Due to difficult living conditions Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are lately selling their properties more frequently.

One of the reasons for selling their land, according to inhabitants of Novo Brdo/Novobërdë, is that there are no jobs. There are no more youngsters, they are leaving their houses in search for better life. “They are not leaving abroad, they go to Serbia proper,” says one of locals, and adds that poor living conditions is the reason for selling properties and leaving.

Serbia seeking 40 former KLA members (Koha, RTK2)

Three former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) could face the same destiny of Ramush Haradinaj when traveling out of Kosovo, writes Pristin-based Koha Ditore. According to the paper, Interpol warrants are still valid for Azem Syla, Shukri Buja and Fatmir Limaj. They are on warrants, which are valid in 190 states, whereas names of Hashim Thaci and Agim Ceku have been removed from the list.
