Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, on Thursday started his official meetings in the Republic of Turkey. Thaci in a meeting with Turkey's Foreign Minister, Mevlyt Çavuşoğlu expressed his gratitude for the great help that Turkey has given to Kosovo. UN Raps Serbia Over Wartime Missing Persons (Balkan Insight)

The United Nations Committee on Enforced Disappearances told Serbia that it was still failing to meet its international commitment to resolve the fate of missing persons from the 1990s wars.

The UN committee admonished Belgrade for not doing enough to uphold the rights of people who disappeared and their relatives, who it said “are still waiting for justice and reparations for the war crimes and crimes against humanity during the wars of the 1990s”.

FINA Announces Kosovo as 208th Member Federation (Koha Ditore)

The International Swimming Federation (FINA) on Tuesday announced Kosovo as a member of FINA with full rights. The decision taken by the FINA Bureau decision making-that means that swimmers Kosovo will be eligible to compete in the inaugural European Games in Baku and try to qualify in next year's Olympics in Rio de Janerio. The paper writes that Kosovo also was allowed to compete in this year's FINA World Championship in Kazan, although according to the paper, the host country, Russia, strongly opposes Kosovo’s declaration of independence.
