Sustainable return of displaced to be discussed in Brussels (Blic)

Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija has forwarded a letter to the Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, requesting that one of the topics that should be discussed in Brussels is ‘sustainable return of displaced and repossession of usurped Serbian property’. In the letter representatives of the organization also requested termination of the Brussels Agreement and reminded that one of the main tasks set by the UNSC Resolution 1244 is safe and free return of 250.000 displaced Serbs and other non-Albanians.

Serbia’'s Minister of Interior, Nebojsa Stefanovic, stated that 290 individuals, majority of them Albanians from Kosovo, who were trying to illegally cross the border between Serbia and Hungary, have been arrested during the last 48 hours. Criminal charges are raised against 256 individuals and 50 smugglers while 15 vehicles have been confiscated. Stefanovic stated that he will discuss the issue of the illegal emigrants and false asylum seekers with the Director of German Police.

Gashi requests a ban on use of word ‘Metohija’ in the Kosovo Assembly (KoSSev)

MP in the Kosovo Assembly, member of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Arben Gashi, requested words ‘Kosovo and Metohija’ not to be used by Serbian MPs in the Kosovo Assembly, carried Kosovapress. Gashi requested from the Assembly speaker Kadri Veseli to interrupt Serb MPs if they would use words ‘Kosovo and Metohija’ in the course of their address in the parliament. At his Facebook profile he also asked for disciplinary measures to be taken against MPs if using ‘unconstitutional’ terms in the parliament such as ‘Kosovo and Metohija’.
