Ymeri requests from Rama not to go to Begrade (media)
The leader of the Vetëvendosje movement, Visar Ymeri, has requested through a status on his Facebook profile from the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, not to go to Belgrade where the future of the Albanian-Serbian relations will be discussed.
“The PM of Albania, Edi Rama, is expected to participate tomorrow at a panel with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Vučić, to discuss on “The future of Serb-Albanian relations as well as stability in Southeastern Europe.
I appeal on Mr. Rama not to go in Belgrade and to not participate at this panel in Belgrade, not only because of the arrest of the Kosovo Director of Police, Mr. Nehat Thaçi, and not only because of the non-recognition of the independence of Kosovo and lack of an apology for Serbia’s crimes committed during the most recent war in Kosovo.
Vučić’s Serbia is in bad relations with Croatia and Bosnia ever since the end of the wars in 1995. Rama should not help Vučić to appear as a good politician in Balkans. Rama should go five times in Zagreb, four times in Sarajevo, three times in Podgorica, two times in Sofia, in order to go once in Belgrade,” Ymeri wrote.
