Vucic, Djuric react to EU's stance on ZSO (BETA, Tanjug, B92)

Aleksandar Vucic has said that the ZSO can only be formed in accordance with the Brussels agreement, its principles and the implementation plan.

Reacting to EU's stance on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) in Kosovo - after an EU spokesperson told Tanjug on Tuesday that this would be done "in accordance with Kosovo laws and objections of the Kosovo Constitutional Court - the president said, "let them show us where this is written."

Vucic also said he was "surprised by this statement."

Brnabic: Serbia expects international community to condemn Pristina (B92)

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke on Thursday in Belgrade with Director for South Central European Affairs at the US Department of State Matthew Palmer.

According to the Serbian government, they discussed "bilateral relations of the two countries, European integration of Serbia and the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue."

Beta agency reported this on Friday, citing an article published by the daily Danas, which quoted sources in the government.

April 20 is when Serbs in Kosovo said they will start forming the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) - and the newspaper's sources also said that Djuric "has an obligation to travel to Kosovo as the head of the Office."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday that "top Pristina officials" ordered Monday's "beating of (Marko) Djuric."

Speaking at a military range, where he attended an exercise, Vucic noted that he now "doesn't know when and how to negotiate with Pristina officials, who he knows ordered the arrest of the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metojiha."

Marko Djuric said on Thursday that Serbs will not give up on the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

The head of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija also advised authorities in Pristina who are making threats of arrest, "to arrest themselves first."

Djuric said that Serbia expects representatives of authorities in Pristina to start enabling Serbs to work on the formation of the ZSO, "instead of making threats of war and a campaign of terror, that will bring nothing to anyone."
