Marko Djuric appointed as acting director of the Office for Kosovo (RTS)

The Government of Serbia has decided to reappoint Marko Djuric as Acting Director of the Government Office for Kosovo, in duration of three months, RTS reported quoting the Official Gazette.

At the same session held on 6th July 2017, the Serbian Government also appointed 3 Acting Deputy Directors and 4 acting director’s assistants for the same period of the three months.

Acting Deputy Directors are Zoran Jovic, Zeljko Jovic and Dusan Kozarev.

Djuric: Yet another proof there is no justice in Kosovo (Tanjug)

The decision to set free mayor of Skenderaj/Srbica, Sami Lushtaku, indicted for the war crimes committed in Kosovo, indicates there is no justice, neither for Serbian nor for Albanian victims of the terror of the so-called KLA in Kosovo, stated Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric.

Djuric also added such decision shows the policy of hiding the war crimes and monstrous acts under the carpet continues as it was done in the name of and for the sake of “Greater Albania” idea.

19 years since the kidnapping of miners in Kosovo (KIM radio)

The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Killed in Kosovo and Metohija marked the 19th anniversary of the kidnapping of nine miners of the Belaćevac mine in Kosovo in the memorial room for the Kosovo victims of the Belgrade Palace, KIM radio reported.

Director of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić said that the state will help to create a permanent museum for all victims of wars in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

Elections in Kosovo - the coalition "PAN" 34.6 per cent, the Serbian List the fourth force (RTS)

According to preliminary results of Kosovo's Central Elections Commission, a sample of 91 per cent of processed votes, the coalition gathered around Ramush Haradinaj won 34.6 per cent of the vote in the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

With 35,252 votes, counted so far, the Serbian List takes the fourth place among the parties, said RTS correspondent from Kosovo.

Đurić: Haradinaj ripe for the treatment (Večernje Novosti)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić says that one of the former leaders of the terrorist KLA Ramush Haradinaj, who from day to day announces increasingly aggressive threats towards Serbia, does not deserve political reaction than a treatment in a medical institution.

"This what Haradinaj says and does, not deserve political review but shows that he, except for the prosecution before judicial authorities, is ripe and for the treatment," Đurić said in a statement sent to Tanjug news agency.

Đurić with Tanin: ZSO should be established without delay (KIM radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić met with UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin today. They discussed the political and security situation in Kosovo and dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reported KIM radio.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić emphasized that Belgrade wants the full implementation of the agreements reached in Brussels, especially those related to the Community/Association of Serb municipalities, which, according to him, must be established without delay.

Kontakt Plus radio reports that the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić will meet with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General and UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin.

As announced by the President's Office for cooperation with the media after the meeting a press release will follow.

And TV Most reports that the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić will meet with UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin at the Palace "Serbia".

Serbia delivers non-paper to EU with four requests (Večernje Novosti)

Minister without Portfolio in charge of EU integration Jadranka Joksimović and Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić met with ambassadors of EU member-states in Belgrade on Thursday. The ambassadors were informed about the current situation in the region, positions of Belgrade regarding the open threats and negative reactions towards Serbia as well as the concerns of the Serbian government that the EU and its members turn a blind eye on all that.
