Alliance for Serbia: Thaci’s statement evidence that Vucic negotiates handover of Serbian municipalities (Danas)

Alliance for Serbia (SzS) assessed yesterday that statement of Kosovo President Hashim Thaic on the agreement with Belgrade by which Kosovo would get Bujanovac, Medvedja and Presevo municipalities “is yet another evidence” that President Aleksandar Vucic negotiates the handover of the Serbian municipalities, concealing this fact from the public, Danas daily reported.

Serbian President denies having secret meetings with Thaci (Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said yesterday he never had any secret dinner with Hashim Thaci, as representatives of Alliance for Serbia claimed, Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti reported. Asked to comment allegations that he had secret meetings with Hashim Thaci, Vucic said they did not have secret meetings. “We were in Vienna with Sebastian Kurz. Hashim Thaci promised to NATO in 2013 that the KSF will not go to the north of Kosovo "without the consent of KFOR," Radio Free Europe said it learned. NATO sources explained that there was an exchange of letters between the-then Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and former Secretary General Andreas Fogh Rasmussen. "Basically, then prime minister Thaci took an obligation that the KSF (Kosovo Security Force) would not go north of the Ibar River without an agreement with the KFOR commander," one NATO source explained to RFE.

European Parliament Rapporteur for Serbia, David McAllister urged Pristina authorities to revoke the decision on tariffs on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tanjug news agency reported.
