Vucic: I hope, however, I am reserved towards signals on lifting taxes (Tanjug, Dnevnik, TV Pink)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic voiced today reservation towards signals from Pristina on the possible revocation of 100 percent tax imposed on goods from central Serbia, Tanjug news agency reports.

“I do not believe they would easily revoke the tax, but I hope they would do so,” Vucic told journalists in Davos.

He noted the pressure of the international community against the taxes is growing, but recalled that Pristina demonstrated many times it does not honour agreements, and his experience showed Albanian politicians cannot be trusted.

Djuric: Thaci’s statement threat to Serbs in Kosovo (RTS, Tanjug)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric commenting on a statement of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci on “unification of Mitrovica” said Thaci should not play games with Serbia and should not threaten Serbs, RTS reports. At the same time, Djuric urged the EU to react before it is too late.

“Hashim Thaci speaks about annexation of Mitrovica North, and I want to convey a message to him, not to play games with Serbia and threaten Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, not to act irresponsibly, since such statements are call for destabilization,” Djuric said.

“I am convinced that with the final agreement Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja will belong to Kosovo, and I guarantee that Gazivode, Mitrovica North and Trepca will remain within Kosovo,” President Hashim Thaci said after the meeting with Pristina negotiating team, to which he delivered a report on the dialogue with Belgrade, RTK reported.

Pristina journalist Vehbi Kajtazi said he believes Kosovo President Hashim Thaci would go to The Hauge, adding he believes the Special Court for KLA crimes would make no sense, if Thaci is not indicted, Tanjug news agency reported.

According to Tanjug, Kajtazi said this in “Pressing” broadcast on TV 7. “I expect (Hashim) Thaci to be indicted and to go to the Hague in March, he could be questioned in March,” Kajtazi said.

Odalovic: I expect soon first indictments against KLA members (Danas, RTS)

Secretary General of the Serbian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Veljko Odalovic told Danas daily it is very important that members of the KLA command structure are invited to the Hague, adding he expects that the first indictments for the crimes against Serbs would “soon be shaped and presented.”

“We have gathered and submitted many evidences related to the direct link of people from the command structure with the committed crimes,” Odalovic said.

Letter of Donald Trump sent to Hashim Thaci unequivocally shows there is a secret diplomacy held behind the scenes, leading towards resolution of the Kosovo issue, BETA news agency reports.

These remarks were made by the leader of Peoples’ Party Vuk Jeremic.

“If anyone had any dilemma whether it is true that things behind the scenes are being hastily brought to an end, this letter casts all doubts away,” Jeremic wrote on Twitter.

Jeremic: Vucic and Thaci agreed on army (Danas, RTV Kursumlija, FoNet)

Leader of Peoples’ Party Vuk Jeremic told RTV Kursumlija that forming of “Kosovo army” is scandalous, and the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic bears a great proportion of the blame for it, since, according to Jeremic, Vucic agreed with Thaci on the army, on November 4, in Rome, “in the EU Mission in Vatican.”

“This is a grand treason, Vucic must be held responsible for,” Jeremic said, adding “Srpska Lista would bring the Kosovo Government down, if this is not true.”
