Slavko Simic, head of the Serbian List parliamentary group, said in his address at the Kosovo Assembly today that Serb MPs will continue to oppose the law on the Trepca mining complex. “The Serbian List will continue to oppose this law because it was done without consultations with Serbs. We were not able to protect our interests. These laws are not good for the Serb community. We are here in the Assembly to protect our interests and only with work and honesty we can overcome the current problems and regain trust,” he said.

The MPs of the Serbian List will participate in the Kosovo Assembly. "If we choose, then it is now, when deciding on the budget for 2017" - says the latest statement of the Serbian List. Budget hearings will be held today.

They add that "withdrawal before the problems", as they call the boycott of Kosovo institutions, for the second time in a row - has not changed anything, and that they - "and all responsible people" - must continue to "fight in the only possible political arena, in this one here, in Kosmet."

Although Slavko Simić talked to RTV KiM about the preservation of unity among Serbian political representatives, it seems the situation is further complicated. So currently is not even clear who is the president and who are members of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Parliament.

The Serbian List has returned to the Kosovo Assembly following a period of boycotting the institutions. A reporter for the news website, who is following the Assembly session today, confirmed that Sasa Milosavljevic, who was appointed as head of the Serbian List parliamentary group yesterday, and Slavko Simic, are attending the assembly session. The news website recalls that the Serbian List has boycotted the work of the Kosovo Assembly since October when the law on the Trepca mining complex was adopted.

The MPs of the Serbian List have so far been unique and will try to maintain this unity and for those who  "flee from the political battlefield" there is no place in the list, which I represent, said Slavko Simić.

After the several-months boycott on participation at the works of the Kosovo Assembly, Serbian List might return tomorrow at the Assembly.

Sources of lajmi.net within the PDK-LDK –Serbian List coalition, said that the decision comes after the recent developments within the Serbian List and possibility to endorse the decree for the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities very soon.

Municipal committees of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in Kosovo condemn the deal of a part of deputies in the Serbian List, from the ranks of the Socialists Movement, with Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa that resulted in the change of the minister Ljubomir Marić, a member and official of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and the installing of a person to the position, who is compromised, incompetent and loyal to Pristina, said a statement to the media.

The MPs of the Serbian List wanted to entrust a mandate to Mirjana Jevtić because they wanted a women from the Serbian community to be at the forefront of the ministry with a capacity, said Slavko Simić in a written statement.

"Mr Marić was before his dismissal, as Mr Mustafa said, due to poor coordination and cooperation of his ministry with local governments in Kosovo," said President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić in a written statement to the media.

Vice-President of the Assembly of Kosovo and member of the Serbian list, Slobodan Petrović, participated in today's meeting of the Presidium of the Assembly of Kosovo.

This is the first participation of a Serbian representative, after two months since they have frozen their work in the Assembly after the adoption of the Trepča.

The MPs of the Serbian List condemned the incidents that occurred during the weekend, and aim at "intimidation and expel of the remaining Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija."

According to the announcement, "continuous attacks on the Serbian people that are unsolved are causing immeasurable damage to mutual trust and co-existence."
