Deletion of asterisk then the SAA ratification (Vecernje Novosti, B92)

Pristina on Monday changed the Stabilization and Association Agreement it signed with the EU. 

Pristina has signed the SAA agreement as Kosovo* - but the yesterday session of the Assembly, that ratified the agreement, also passed an amendment that replaced the asterisk - which in official documents points to a footnote referring to Kosovo's status - with the term "the Republic of Kosovo."

Veseli: Jahjaga is performing her constitutional duty (Koha)

Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli said today that  Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga is performing her constitutional duty by addressing the Constitutional Court regarding the Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities. Veseli added that he hopes that the Serbian List representatives, who expressed their concern over the delay on the implementation of this association, will be more understanding on this matter.

Simic with Hyseni due to the attacks on Serbs (RTK2, Akter)

The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Assembly Slavko Simic will meet early this week with the Kosovo Interior Minister Skender Hyseni. Simic expressed a sharp protest against the wave of violence against Serbs in Kosovo, the Serbian list announced today.

As previously announced, Simic would talk to Hyseni, because "there is no more sense to condemn crimes, fraud and injustice through statements," while the Kosovo police will not or was not able to prevent the violence.

Jablanović to submit criminal charge against Stojanović (Beta, KIM Radio)

Aleksandar Jablanović is not recognizing decision on his deposition from the post of the chairperson of the Civic Initiative Serbian List and stated that he will submit a criminal charge against Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović for fake presentation, Beta agency reports. The Serbian List communicated in late September that the post of the coordinator of that civic initiative, until appointment of a new chairperson, will be carried out by Stojanović.

Assembly chairmanship gathers to decide on Thursday’s session (media)

The Assembly chairmanship gathered today to discuss the modalities of the Thursday’s session. The meeting was held without the presence of the heads of the parliamentary groups of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Vetevendosje movement and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA).

Divisions among Serbs in Kosovo even threaten creation of the A/CSM (Politika)

Deposition of Aleksandar Jablanovic from the helm of the Serbian List had shown how deep divisions are on Vulin’s and Vucic’s people in Kosovo and Metohija. There is no bigger harmony in the Serbian Government than between the Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Minister for Labor Aleksandar Vulin, however there is no bigger division between Vucic’s and Vulin’s people from the Serbian List in the Kosovo parliament, which can even jeopardize the creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities.

Simic refutes Stojanovic’s claims (Tanjug)

The Serbian List caucus whip in the Kosovo parliament Slavko Simic rejected today as untruthful claims of Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic that they have joined the opposition in its boycott of the work of the Kosovo parliament, and said that discussion over the Association/Community of Serb municipalities was not on the parliament’s agenda.
