Hoxha: Nine Serbs passed the Kosovo bar exam (RTK2)

The Brussels agreement on the judiciary was supposed to start on January 10, but this is still pending. The Parliamentary Commission on Legislation organized a public debate to inform the public about the reasons for non-implementation of this Agreement.

The Commission invited the Minister for dialogue Edita Tahiri and Minister of Justice Dhurata Hoxha to inform MPs and the public about the reasons for the delay of the integration of the Serbian judiciary into Kosovo's system.

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said during her speech at the European Countries Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Committees Summit that Russia is trying to impact negatively in the region. “In addition to the internal agenda of the countries of the region, we are also dealing with some geopolitical ambitions. Here I am speaking about Russia, which has openly expressed ambitions to increase impact in the region. Therefore, we have to increase our cooperation to show that our region is Euro-Atlantic,” Tahiri said.

Derguti: Edita Tahiri deceived the public, telephone code endangers national security (Lajmi)

Head of the Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group, Aida Derguti, reacted to the publication of her letter addressed to the ITU, by the Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri. During the today’s Assembly session, she accused Minister Tahiri for deceiving the Kosovo population. “With the publication of the letter, Edita Tahiri tried to lie the public, as she has learned to do about the dialogue,” Derguti said.

Derguti: I asked ITU not to allocate prefix through Serbia (Koha)

Vetevendosje MP, Aida Derguti, has denied she asked the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) not to issue Kosovo a dialing prefix. She said that in a letter to ITU which is in the public domain, she spoke about the need to avoid getting the code through Serbia.
Derguti was responding to allegations from the Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, that an MP from Vetevendosje wrote to the ITU asking it not to allocate a prefix code for Kosovo.

PM Vucic ready to establish "hotline with Pristina" (B92, Pink)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday in Davos, Switzerland that "peace and stability have the greatest importance."

In this regard, Vucic added, he was "also ready to establish a hotline between Belgrade - Pristina.

Vucic told TV Pink that he had "many important discussion for Serbia at the World Economic Forum," and underlined that he believes "we will have the strength to calm down certain things - even those that were under no influence of ours whatsoever."

Tahiri: Serbia without role on establishment of Association (lajmi.net)

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said for Radio Free Europe that “Serbia does not have any role on establishment of the Association for Serb-majority Municipalities.” According to her, Serbian representatives do not have the authority to deal with the issue. “It is not up to Serbia to impose dates or make pressure,” she said.

Tahiri: The time has come to change format of the dialogue (Epoka)

Kosovo’s Minister for dialogue, Edita Tahiri, assessed on Tuesday that the time has come to change the format of the dialogue with Serbia. She stated that the next phase of the dialogue should be the closing of this process. In an interview for the paper, Tahiri defended the dialogue process held in Brussels, saying that it had brought many benefits to Kosovo. According to her, this process has contributed significantly in fulfilling the strategic objectives of the government, on strengthening the state internally and externally.
