USAID gives 12 million euros to 14 municipalities in Kosovo (RTV Puls)

Kosovo Minister of Local-Governance and Administration, Ivan Todosijevic and USAID Assistant Director for Europe and Asia, Brock Bierman signed yesterday an agreement on LEGO project, worth 12 million euros encompassing 14 municipalities in Kosovo, out of it 10 with the Serb-majority, RTV Puls reported.

The project aims to strengthen capacities of the municipalities, participation of communities in decision-making and managing the institutions. The project will last five years.

Jevtic: Peace and stability should be interest of all (Voice of America, KIM Radio, Radio kontakt plus)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic told Voice of America, peace and stability must be interest of all and this year would be crucial to reach that goal.

Jevtic also spoke about the importance of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue continuation as well as to implement what has been agreed so far, in particular the Association of the Serb Municipalities.

He added, the Association of the Serb Municipalities targets no one, and it is well known, Serbian media reported.

Jevtic: Robberies and attacks against returnees must stop (Tanjug, Blic)

It is high time to stop those terrorizing returnees in the municipality of Istok since beginning of this year. I urge the Kosovo police to protect the Serbs in returns sites in Istok municipality, while robberies and attacks against returnees must stop immediately, Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said yesterday, Serbian media reported.

Dalibor Jevtic invited to the Prayer Breakfast (KIM radio)

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Kosovo and Minister of Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic received an invitation to attend, together with his wife, this year's National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, reports KIM radio.

As reported, Jevtic will have a number of meetings during the stay in the United States with State Department officials, the Congress and the Senate, as well as other officials.

Jevtic: Violence against Serb returnees (RTS)

On the occasion of another incident that took place on Saturday evening, when in a household of Snezana Dubljevic was set on fire hay, straw, barn and pigsty in the village of Suvi Lukavac, the deputy prime minister of Kosovo and the minister for communities and returns, Dalibor Jevtic, assessed that it was about, as he said, "organized violence against Serb returnees in the municipality of Istok", reports RTS.

Jevtic with European delegation on problems in Kosovo, Special Court initiative (Tanjug, Dnevnik)

Srpska Lista is against an initiative to revoke the Special Court and the stance of Serb political representatives about it is clear and unequivocal Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic told representatives of French-German delegation visiting Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

Jevtic met yesterday the Germany's Envoy for South-Eastern Europe, Turkey and the EFTA States, Christian Hellbach, and the Head of the French Foreign Ministry's Western Balkans Department, Thomas Bertin.

Jevtic: Pressure on returnees continues (RTV Puls)

Kosovo Ministry for Communities and Returns, reacting to the latest wave of arson affecting haystacks belonging to the Serb returnees in Kosovo said that “such incidents indicate continuation of pressure against returnees to abandon their properties and show they are not welcome in Kosovo, which is very bad, RTV Puls reported.

The Ministry further assessed these incidents were not accidental and if someone wishes that  Serbs give up return it is not going to happen, adding they would work harder to have more returnees in Kosovo in 2018.

Adopted regulation on the return of displaced persons (KIM radio)

The Government of Kosovo adopted, on the proposal of the Minister of Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic, the Regulation on the Return of Displaced Persons, reports KIM radio.

Jevtic says that this Regulation is significant and represents an important step in a lasting and sustainable solution to the process of returning displaced persons to Kosovo.
