Trajkovic: “Lord of the North” elected as SL deputy chair (Danas)

I am surprised with the impudence of Kosovo Office Director, Marko Djuric who came from Belgrade to take part in Srpska Lista (SL) electoral assembly, during which a man known by everybody as a mafia man was elected as its deputy chair, Rada Trajkovic, leader of the Serb European Movement told Danas daily.

Jevtic: We came to US to realistically present problems of Serbs (Tanjug, B92)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said the aim of the visit to Washington is to realistically present problems of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian media reported.

Jevtic with Srpska Lista delegation is paying a visit to the USA, where he will speak about recent incidents against Serbs and their properties in Kosovo.

Srpska Lista elected vice presidents and Presidency members, Peoples’ Party reacts (Radio kontakt plus, RTS)

Srpska Lista (SL) on Friday, during the working part of the Assembly meeting, unanimously elected Vinka Radosavljevic, Igor Simic, Milan Radojicic, Nenad Rikalo and Dalibor Jevtic as its vice presidents.

At the same time, Jasmina Zivkovic and Aleksandar Spiric were unanimously elected as new members of the Presidency.

According to the SL press release, they have also discussed the reports on the work of Srpska Lista mayors.

The working part of this session, preceded the celebratory session, which marked the first anniversary of SL establishment.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric would attend Srpska Lista ceremonial session in Mitrovica North today, KoSSev portal reported.

Srpska Lista marks today anniversary of its establishment, while ceremonial session would be held at Technical Faculty, starting at noon, Serbian media reported.

Srpska Lista: Customs unification unacceptable (Radio kontakt plus)

A customs unification between Pristina and Tirana represents a clear manifestation of a so-called “great-Albanian politics,” Srpska Lista said in a press statement, adding it reconfirms the necessity for an urgent meeting between Srpska Lista and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Radio kontakt plus reported.

Srpska Lista also said the customs unification is unacceptable and represents a product of a political violence in the Assembly of Kosovo.

 

Rakic: Srpska Lista asks for consultations with President Vucic (Tanjug, RTS)

Chairperson of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic said due to the stances of Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, who are violating Brussels agreements and dialogue, as well as silence from Brussels, Srpska Lista addressed Belgrade and requested consultations with President Vucic in order to define forthcoming steps ahead, RTS reported.

Simic: Request to international representatives to prevent attacks against Serbs (RTS)

Member of Srpska Lista, Igor Simic told RTS Serbia’s progress does not go in favour of some people and that is why they are trying to drag Serbia into a vortex of instability.

Simic made these remarks commenting on frequent attacks against Serbs and their properties over the last days in Kosovo and Metohija.

He added it is about synchronized attacks in areas where Serbs are in minority, and their aim is to intimidate returnees and remaining Serbs in Kosovo.

New thefts in Klokot, cow and vehicle stolen (RTV Puls)

Unknown perpetrators, have stolen last night, a cow and a calf belonging to a Serb Nisic family in Klokot, RTV Puls reported.

This is not the first time that thieves are attacking the property of this family. This is the seventh incident and none of the previous cases have been resolved, RTV Puls added.

“In the last one year they have stolen everything, from five tones of wheat, 170 hens, doves, burglarized the house, even stole food from the refrigerator,” Zoran Nisic told RTV Puls, repeating the police did not resolve any of the cases.

Srpska Lista: Attack in Staro Gracko for strongest condemnation (Radio KIM)

Attack against Staro Gracko village inhabitants, when children were injured, including a 6-month old baby is “a heinous act, demanding strongest condemnation,” Srpska Lista (SL) said in a press statement, Radio KIM reported.

SL asked for urgent apprehension and punishment of those responsible for the attack against Matovic family and requested the international community to wake up and finally starts reacting to synchronized ethnically motivated attacks against the Serbs.

“Trepca is being taken away, it is disappointing everyone is silent” (BETA, B92)

Serbs did not take part in drafting Trepca Statute, they are neither members of the Supervisory Board nor were they consulted when a draft law on Trepca was made, member of Srpska Lista Igor Simic told Serbian media.

He also termed as disappointing the silence of the international community over the matter.

“This is an example how Pristina is conducting physical and legal violence against Serbian population (...),” Simic told RTS, adding Trepca is one of the examples as why property issues should be a topic in Brussels dialogue.
