After repeated counting of 117 ballot boxes, Simic enters Kosovo Assembly (Lajmi.net, KoSSev, Danas)

Quoting Albanian-language portal Lajmi.net, KosSev reported that repeated counting of ballot papers from 117 ballot boxes has caused some changes related to the expectations as to who will seat at the Kosovo Assembly.

Lajmi.net learned out that in regards to Srpska Lista, previous official results noted that Slavko Simic did not manage to secure enough votes to become an MP, however, following the repeated counting Simic will be an MP, at the Kosovo Assembly, leaving behind Branimir Stojanovic.

Leader of a political party Civic Initiative Srpska Lista, Slavko Simic stated yesterday that Election Appeals and Complaints Commission accepted 6 out of 7 complaints from the party related to the results of the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo, Beta agency reported.

“The Srpska Lista submitted 7 complaints, and the Commission made positive decisions on 6 of them,” Simic stated, adding that individual candidates from the list submitted 4 more complaints.

RTK 2 referring to Pristina based media reports on claims by Ramush Haradinaj, one of the possible candidates for the Prime Minister that he has secured 61 votes for forming the government, reported it is still uncertain with whom Srpska Lista will be, however this List states they are open to negotiations.
