Vucic: My Kosovo solution idea failed; that will cost us dearly (B92, Blic, N1, Tanjug)

President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he regretted that his idea of establishing a final compromise boundary between Serbs and Albanians has failed.

As he said, the idea failed because "our people thought differently, and that will cost us dearly in two to three decades."

Serbian President met on Monday afternoon with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini in Berlin.

Vucic told Mogherini that Serbia was ready to, "as soon as tomorrow" to continue the dialogue, if Pristina lifted their taxes on Serbian products.

"Whether that will happen is not in our hands," Vucic told reporters in Berlin.

He pointed out to Mogherini that it was about European values, and that the taxes were unsustainable.

Media Coalition: Journalists in Serbia exposed to threats, their safety at risk (N1, Beta)

The Coalition of journalists’ and media associations called on public on Thursday to defend professional media and journalists who had been exposed to insults, serious threats and whose safety was jeopardised, the Beta news agency reported.

In its statement, the Coalition said that in the last several days only, some journalists were publicly lynched on social networks which had been masterminded and organised "in the manner of Joseph Goebbels."
