Elderly Serb beaten up and arrested (RTS)

Serbian national public broadcaster RTS reports today that Kosovo police has beaten up and arrested 70-year old Vojislav Todorovic from Gnjilane, and prior to that they mistreated his wife at administrative crossing of Konculj, Office for Kosovo and Metohija said in a statement.

Todorovic family is one of the few Serb families still living in the Gnjilane town.

Serb accused for crimes against Albanians acquitted (RTS, TV Mir)

Kosovo judicial bodies have acquitted Milos Petkovic, from Mala Krusa village, accused of committing war crimes against the civilian population in this village, Orahovac municipality, Leposavic-based RTV Mir reported.

Milos Petkovic was arrested in Hungary on September 6, 2018 as per international arrest warrant issued by EULEX, RTS said. Petkovic was in detention in Hungary until May 17, 2019 when he was extradited to the Kosovo judicial bodies.

Serb female border police officer arrested in Velji Breg, Zubin Potok (Tanjug)

Kosovo police has arrested a Serb female border police officer B.T. from the village of Velji Breg in Zubin Potok municipality, Tanjug news agency reported.

She was arrested by regular police from the south. She was arrested in the premises of the Red Cross and Centre for Sports Development located at Gazivode lake, while visiting her son who works there.

Zoran Djokic placed under one-month detention (BETA, KoSSev)

Basic Court in Pec has decided to place Zoran Djokic from this town under one-month detention under allegations that he has committed war crimes during the conflict in Kosovo in 1999, BETA news agency reported.

Kosovo police arrested Djokic at the administrative crossing point Jarinje, over the weekend and then under an armed escort transported him to Pec. His 12-year son who was together with him in the bus witnessed the arrest.

Lawyer Ljubomir Pantovc told BETA news agency his client rejected all allegations of the indictment.

Ranilug: Vitomir Ilic released (RTV Puls, KIM Radio)

Vitomir Ilic (58) from the village of Korminjane, near Ranilug arrested yesterday by Kosovo police was released today, RTV Puls reports.

There are no proceedings launched against him, his lawyer Vasilije Arsic confirmed to RTV Puls.

Vitomir Ilic, retired member of Serbian MUP was suspected of taking part in the Serbian police action in the village of Zegovce, Gnjilane municipality. However, during the interrogation, it was confirmed Ilic was not in Gnjilane region at that time, but in other part of Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

Vitomir Ilic from Korminjane, near Ranilug arrested (RTV Puls)

Special Kosovo police unit arrested this morning Vitomir Ilic (58) in the village of Korminjane, near Ranilug and took him for informative interrogation to the police station in Gnjilane, RTV Puls reports.

Kosovo police for Gnjilane region spokesperson Ismet Hasani confirmed the arrest of a person of Serb nationality, without mentioning identity and reasons for the arrest.

Vitomir Ilic is a former member of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs and was retired ten years ago. He spent the entire time after the armed conflict in Kosovo in his home place with the family.

One more Serb suspected of war crimes in Kosovo (Radio kontakt plus)

Kosovo Serb Radomir Antic (65) was placed under one-month detention, while Kosovo prosecution launched an investigation against him over alleged war crimes committed in 1999 in the area of Zegovacka Vrbica village, near Gnjilane, Radio kontakt plus reported.

Antic was arrested a few days ago and police found a hunting weapon with expired licence, gun and 40 bullets of different calibre in his house.

Dejan Slavic released (KoSSev portal)

Dejan Slavic who was in detention under war crimes charges raised the Basic Court in Pristina was set free, his lawyer, Nebojsa Vlajic confirmed to KoSSev portal.

“His detention is annulled. The decision says there are no reasons for detention any longer, without providing any other details. However, he was most probably arrested as he has the same name as someone else they are looking for,” Vlajic further explained.
