Xhavit Haliti, senior official of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, told TV Dukagjini that statements of Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Commander, in regards to Kosovo Armed Forces’ (KAF) presence in the north, were immature. Haliti said, "We heard two statements which for me have been immature, the Prime Minister saying that KAF would not operate in the north, and the KSF Commander saying that the KSF doesn’t need anyone's permission to operate in north or south.

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, on the second day of his to Croatia, met with the leader of the opposition party, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Tomislav Karamarko. The meeting focused on the good cooperation between Kosovo and Croatia as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in the area of economy and the process of Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration. Thaci informed his interlocutor about the achievements of Kosovo in the consolidation of rule of law and focus on economic development.

Kosovo’s Interior Minister, Skender Hyseni, on Monday met with the director of the Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative (MARRI), Trpe Stojanovski. Hyseni noted that Kosovo’s membership in this initiative would contribute to further stabilization of the security situation in the region. Hyseni said that Kosovo's membership in international organizations and regional initiatives is among the top priorities of the Ministry of Interior.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, while reporting to the Kosovo Assembly on Friday, said that the establishment of the special court which will address war crimes allegations, does not affect the independence of the judiciary in Kosovo. According to him, the actions of the government regarding the special court are based on the exchange of letters between Kosovo and the EU. He reminded MPs that this correspondence was ratified by the Assembly of Kosovo in 2014.
