The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, on Wednesday participated in the promotion of the "Administrative Instruction for the Registration of Joint Property", organized by the Agency for Gender Equality. Mustafa said that sustainable development of Kosovo cannot be achieved without ensuring the participation and contribution of all citizens, especially women and girls, who constitute half of the population of Kosovo.

The Mitrovica South municipal building was attacked with Kalashnikov on Thrusday morning, causing material damages. The mayor, Agim Bahtiri, confirmed the attack and said that such criminal acts aim to destabilizing the current situation. “The time of Kalashnikov in Kosovo, especially in Mitrovica, has passed long ago, no one can hinder my work,” Bahtiri said. The news site reports that the attack comes just one day after the former guards of the parking lot broke the windows of municipality’s official vehicles.

Saudi Arabia has frustrated American policy makers for years. Ostensibly a critical ally, sheltered from its enemies by American arms and aid, the kingdom has spent untold millions promoting Wahhabism, the radical form of Sunni Islam that inspired the 9/11 hijackers and that now inflames the Islamic State.

The latest report published by the Kosovo Statistics Agency says that Kosovo's unemployment rate is at 32.9%. According to this report, two thirds of the population in Kosovo are of working age, 15-64 years old. “Unemployment is more pronounced in women with 36.6% of women unemployed when compared to men with 31.8%,” the report notes. “Women are employed mainly in the sectors of education and health, while men are mainly employed in manufacturing, trade and construction industries.” The survey was conducted in 4,800 households.

Kosovo expects a positive outcome from the European Commission regarding the criteria for visa liberalization process for Kosovo.  The Ministry of European Integration has already concluded its second report which includes fulfillment of the criteria set by the European Union evaluation mission. The European Integration Minister Bekim Collaku told Radio Free Europe that this report includes the technical and legislative packages necessary for this process.

Ibrahim Kelmendi, who was accused by a unnamed witness that he offered him money to murder a senior Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) official, Xhavit Haliti, told Express that such accusations are false. Kelmendi said that he had no ambitions to replace the leader of the PDK, Hashim Thaci in his post. He claimed that he had some conflicts with Haliti before 1996, but according to him, he was not affected by it as to engage someone to kill him. “I will tell the same things to the Prosecution as well,” Kelmendi said.
