Vucic asked Greece not to vote for Kosovo in UNESCO (Tanjug)
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic spoke on the phone with his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday and asked Greece not to vote in favour of Kosovo's UNESCO membership, the government's media relations office said in a release.
In a long conversation, the two prime ministers expressed their opinions on the migrant crisis and agreed that it was necessary to coordinate the policies on this matter more frequently. It was also discussed and about the promotion of economic cooperation.
Nikolic: Prevent destruction of Serbian heritage in Kosovo (RTS)
A potential admission of Kosovo to UNESCO would mean a start of annihilation of Serbia, says Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
Speaking to the RTS, Nikolic said that, in his address before the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, he will point out that the Serbian heritage in Kosovo has been destroyed for years and that it is high time that ethnic Albanian institutions start caring for them.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon have agreed that "destruction of Serb cultural heritage in Kosovo would be a crime."
During their meeting in New York on Monday, Nikolic also asked for support in preventing the admission of Kosovo to UNESCO, and for protection of Serb heritage.
Don't reward Pristina for destruction of heritage (B92)
Ivica Dacic addressed a UN gathering in New York on Sunday and spoke about the destruction of monuments of cultural and historical heritage in Kosovo.
He asked that "Kosovo not be rewarded for such activity" by allowing Pristina to join UNESCO.
Speaking during a gathering dubbed "Protecting cultural heritage - an imperative for humanity," the Serbian foreign minister said that "vandalism toward cultural monuments cannot be tolerated in any way."

Kosovo’s President, Atifete Jahjaga, within the activities on the occasion of the UN General Assembly meeting, met in New York with King Abdullah II of Jordan. President Jahjaga and King Abdullah discussed the continuation of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the process of international recognition of Kosovo and in the fields of economy and security. Jahjaga urged King Adbullah to support Kosovo’s bid for membership in UNESCO.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic discussed the refugee crisis and Serbia's efforts to prevent Kosovo from becoming a UNESCO member with President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Nikolic said that the refugee crisis is a big test for Europe and its fundamental values.
He pointed out that Serbia will continue to treat migrants responsibly and in a civilized way.
