Mimoza Kusari-Lila: New party won’t be a satellite of the big parties (Indeksonline)

Mimoza Kusari-Lila, mayor of the Gjakova municipality, in an interview for the news website, denied rumours that the new political party, which is expected to be formed this month, will serve as a satellite for the bigger political parties in Kosovo. Kusari-Lila said the new party will be a model for the bigger parties. “Personally I could have joined any of the current parties but I have seen that a new alternative is needed to advance democracy and well-being in Kosovo. By no means will we serve as a satellite for someone else,” she said.
