Vulin: KFOR and UNMIK to open investigation on Gorazdevac again (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin on the occasion of the two Serb youngster murder anniversary in Gorazdevac, said to Tanjug news agency the evil that has killed them must get a name and a punishment.

The investigation was stopped, Vulin further said, adding, as if Pantelija and Ivan died from a sun or a rain.

He requested KFOR and UNMIK to open an investigation again and do not close it down until the perpetrators are found, Serbian media reported.

Guterres: No progress in Belgrade-Pristina dialogue (Kosovapress)

The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, said Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is facing serious challenges and that no sufficient progress has been made, including with regards to the establishment of Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities. German soldiers after 18 years leave base near Prizren (Tanjug)

The German Army after 18 years has handed over to the United Nations Mission in Kosovo to use the base at the Cviljen hill near Prizren.

KoSSev portal, referring to the report of Pristina-based daily „Bota Sot“ said the German Bundeswehr, as a part of KFOR Mission, established this base in 1999 and used it till Wednesday.

Indictment filed for Aggravated Murder of two UNMIK former officials (Koha.net)

Today, 21 July 2017, an international prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, has filed charges at the Department for Serious Crimes of the Basic Court in Pristina, against four defendants accused for aggravated murder of two UNMIK Officers and the attempted murder of two other UNMIK Officers occurred on 23 March 2004.

EULEX prosecutor requests detention of the suspects for murder of UNMIK police officials (Klan Kosova)

The EULEX Special Prosecutor has requested for the three suspects of serious crime of killing two UNMIK officials and serious attempted murder of two other UNMIK officials in 2004, to be put under detention.
Two of the suspects, Bajram Kicmari and Alban Dizdari were arrested yesterday during an operation as part of the continuing criminal investigations by the Special Prosecution conducted by EULEX and Kosovo Police.
The third suspect, Faik Shaqiri, was extradited during the last night from Germany.
Arrest warrants were issued by a Kosovo judge.
