Serbia and NATO "share same goals" - US ambassador (B92, Tanjug)

NATO and Serbia share the same strategic goals and we can work together as partners, US Ambassador in Serbia Kyle Scott said. He made this statement at the 6th Belgrade NATO Week - a two-day event organized by the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies NGO, with the support of NATO's public diplomacy department (PDD) and the US embassy in Belgrade.

Dacic: KFOR presence in Kosovo to remain unhindered (Tanjug, TV Most)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said it is very important that the mandate of KFOR is implemented in line with UN SC Resolution 1244 and that its presence in Kosovo and Metohija remains unhindered, TV Most reports today.

Dacic underlined KFOR is an important guarantor of the Brussels agreement and it is important to be status neutral in carrying out its activities.

First meeting of General Mojsilovic and KFOR Commander (Tanjug)

Serbian Army Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilovic met in Belgrade with KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore Couci, Tanjug news agency reported.

This is the first official meeting of the two generals, since General Mojsilovic assumed the duty in September this year.

The two military officials spoke about current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as about the realization of joint Army of Serbia and KFOR activities.

Vulin: I hope Montenegrin officers know where they are (Tanjug, B92)

Montenegro, which has joined KFOR, should know that this mission was established on the basis of UN Resolution 1244. And this resolution does not mention "the state of Kosovo," Serbian Defense Minister Vulin said.

Italian Defense Minister Elisabetta Trenta met with President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade, on Monday, Beta agency reported.

Trenta said that the Kosovo Force (KFOR) would continue to play an important role in preserving peace and stability, and in protecting the Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, under the command of an Italian general.

The Office of the Serbian President said in a press release that Vucic and Trenta agreed it was necessary to continue the talks between Belgrade and Pristina.
