President of the Active Serbia Dusan Janjic said that the part of politicians gathered around the Serbian list, especially in the north, wants to thwart the formation of the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities and said that Belgrade should not allow it.

The Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) in Kosovo will be established within the agreed time frame and in accordance with the Brussels agreement, said the participants of a panel discussion on the normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations held in Brussels late on Monday.

Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric will meet with EU officials in Brussels on Monday to discuss the implementation of agreements reached so far in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

In the middle of the key phase of dialogue with Belgrade and without permission of the Kosovo Serbs, Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa decided to form their own army. 

Blic writes that Thaci and Mustafa prepared secret plan on transforming Kosovo Security Force into an army, by amending current laws. For this they need a simple majority in parliament. This way the Srpska List would be bypassed, because for the formation through amendment of the Constitution of Kosovo necessary would be the votes of Serbs.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has met in Washington with US Secretary of State John Kerry, who commended Serbia's tremendous efforts in addressing the migrant crisis.

Ahead of the meeting with Vucic, Kerry also applauded the transition that has been taking place under the 2013 agreement with Europe with respect to Serbia and Kosovo.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has sent a letter to the editor of the British "Independent" regarding the article on Kosovo. Djuric pointed out that more than 200,000 displaced Serbs cannot return to their homes, which is why, when writing about harmony in Kosovo, was hypocritical at least.

Local elections in Medvedja showed that the idea of ​​Albanian parties from southern Serbia on forming a Community of Albanian Municipalities (ZAO) is not possible. Victory of the election list SNS-SPS-PUPS (Progressives, Socialists and Pensioners) and defeat of the Albanian parties showed that Medvedja will not be part of the announced ZAO, which is expected to join the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac.

Money is the main motive for the formation of the Community of Albanian Municipalities (ZAO), by which Albanians are trying to blackmail the Serbian authorities, learned Blic. “The National Council of Albanians in this way wants to take as much money as possible, because the amount that Council receives from the state decreased. The criterion for allocation of money to the National Councils is the number of persons in minority communities. However, Albanians in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja boycotted the census in 2011.

President of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanovic is having permanent contacts with the ruling coalition in Kosovo, and he conditioned his support for the creation of the Kosovo Armed Forces. In return, Jablanovic requested the support of the Pristina authorities to the loyal Serbian MPs, claims Pristina portal Indeksonline, citing sources from the Kosovo government.

KFOR Commander, Major-General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta today met with Goran Rakic, Mayor of the north Mitrovica and pointed out that KFOR will provide security in the north and the rest of Kosovo.

- KFOR will continue to provide a safe environment in the north and the rest of Kosovo, ready to intervene, if necessary - said KFOR Commander Miglietta.

He said that KFOR promotes progress and dialogue between all stakeholders in the region in accordance with its mandate.
