Kosovo to form secretly its own army (Blic)

In the middle of the key phase of dialogue with Belgrade and without permission of the Kosovo Serbs, Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa decided to form their own army. 

Blic writes that Thaci and Mustafa prepared secret plan on transforming Kosovo Security Force into an army, by amending current laws. For this they need a simple majority in parliament. This way the Srpska List would be bypassed, because for the formation through amendment of the Constitution of Kosovo necessary would be the votes of Serbs.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has met in Washington with US Secretary of State John Kerry, who commended Serbia's tremendous efforts in addressing the migrant crisis.

Ahead of the meeting with Vucic, Kerry also applauded the transition that has been taking place under the 2013 agreement with Europe with respect to Serbia and Kosovo.

ZAO failed (Blic)

Local elections in Medvedja showed that the idea of ​​Albanian parties from southern Serbia on forming a Community of Albanian Municipalities (ZAO) is not possible. Victory of the election list SNS-SPS-PUPS (Progressives, Socialists and Pensioners) and defeat of the Albanian parties showed that Medvedja will not be part of the announced ZAO, which is expected to join the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac.

President of the Serbian List Aleksandar Jablanovic is having permanent contacts with the ruling coalition in Kosovo, and he conditioned his support for the creation of the Kosovo Armed Forces. KFOR Commander: We will provide security throughout Kosovo (Blic)

KFOR Commander, Major-General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta today met with Goran Rakic, Mayor of the north Mitrovica and pointed out that KFOR will provide security in the north and the rest of Kosovo.

- KFOR will continue to provide a safe environment in the north and the rest of Kosovo, ready to intervene, if necessary - said KFOR Commander Miglietta.

He said that KFOR promotes progress and dialogue between all stakeholders in the region in accordance with its mandate.
