Entrepreneurs cooperate regardless of political dialogue (Tanjug)

BELGRADE - Entrepreneurs of Serbia and Kosovo can cooperate regardless of the political dialogue, and the very fact that major businessmen from Belgrade and Pristina have sat down to the table is sending a message that a better business environment is in the interest of everyone, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Cadez said on Wednesday.

Davenport: Talks on ZSO in a month's time (Blic, Tanjug)

Direct discussions between Belgrade and Pristina on the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) in Kosovo will be on the agenda of the Brussels negotiations in a month's time, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport has said.

“That is one of the key topics in the Brussels agreement, and the EU insists on its full implementation,” Davenport told TV Vojvodina on Monday.

No agreement on energy in Brussels (Akter, Blic, Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug)

Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said after the talks with Pristina's delegation in Brussels that no agreement on energy was reached, as Pristina refused to meet the obligations assumed earlier.

"Pristina did not accept for the community of Serb municipalities and the Electric Power Industry of Serbia to establish a new company that would deal with distribution of electricity in the north of Kosovo-Metohija and they bear the responsibility for not having much success today," he told the press in Brussels on Monday.

Belgrade, Pristina to discuss energy issues in Brussels (Dailies)

Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric will take part in talks on the issues related to the energy sector, as part of the Belgrade-Pristina technical dialogue, in Brussels on Monday.

The Djuric-led Belgrade delegation will include representatives of the Office for KiM and Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic, the Office for KiM said.

Vulin opens the Office of NSE in Gora (TV Most, Tanjug)

The Minister for Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy in the Serbian Government Aleksandar Vulin yesterday opened the Office of the National Service for Employment in Gora in Kosovo and Metohija, and a station for a job search.

“I am glad that today I opened the Office of the National Service for Employment,” said Vulin in Gora and added that some 2000 persons who are on the list of the NSE will have a hope.

Prime Minister Vucic "doesn't know what to expect" from platform (Beta)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday said he "does not know what he can expect" from the announced platform of President Tomislav Nikolic.  

Nikolic said this week that he would send a draft of the platform to Vucic and the government after May 1, the Labor Day holiday.

Vucic added that Nikolic "knows about everything that is asked of Serbia on the road toward the European Union," and that he "does not hide what is talked with the EU," noting that "the topic is always Kosovo."

Friends of Serbia meeting in Brussels on May 18 (Tanjug)

Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will take part in a Friends of Serbia meeting in Brussels on May 18, the Serbian government office for media relations said on Thursday.

All the foreign ministers from EU countries will be at the meeting, and Vucic was invited by Austria's Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz and his Italian counterpart Paolo Gentiloni.

The ambassadors of Austria and Italy, Johannes Aigner and Giuseppe Manzi, presented Vucic with the invitation and said that the meeting was an expression of their countries' support for Serbia's faster EU integration.
