Jevtic: Better cooperation leads to sustainable return (KIM radio,Tanjug)

A conference on improvement of cooperation between the majority and minority communities, as well as between the central and local government in Kosovo, was organized in Pristina in the scope of the USAID Advancing Kosovo Together (AKT) program.

At the Effective Representation of Communities' Interests in Local and Central Government in Kosovo conference held on Tuesday, Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic said that improvement in cooperation between local and central authorities creates conditions for sustainable return.

Serbia is handing over cadastral documents to Pristina (KIM Radio)

During the opening ceremony of the renovated building of the Archives of the Serbian Republic Geodetic Institute was said that within next 12 months all cadastral documentation in digital form will be handed over to Kosovo.

Cadastral documentation from Kosovo and Metohija has been in the possession of the Serbian Geodetic Institute RGA, and when it will be transferred to digital form, a copy of all these documents in digital and electronic form will be given to Pristina.

Maric: Sustainable development strategy for the Serbian municipalities (KiM radio)

Minister of Local Government Administration in Kosovo Ljubomir Maric announced that businessmen from Serbia and others who will invest in Kosovo and Metohija will be offered a sustainable development strategy.

Maric said that the strategy will contain the details of the potentials for investment in 10 municipalities. "Those are local governments that will be part of a future Association / Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO), so this will also be the development strategy of the ZSO," said Maric.

Jevtić: Responsible for crimes must be punished (KIM Radio)

The Serbian List will support constitutional amendments for creation of the special court, said Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic, and stressed that its creation is important for the future of Kosovo. “Those who committed crimes must be held responsible,” said Jevtic.

Kosovo parliament’s session dedicated to constitutional amendments and the draft law on the creation of the special court for war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army is set for tomorrow.

Dacic: International presence still necessary in Kosovo (KIM radio, Tanjug)

Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in New York that his country considers that international presence is still necessary in Kosovo, adding he urges further quarterly reporting by the UN Security Council on the situation in Kosovo.
