The Prime Minister of Kosovo, met five days ago in Albanian city Shkodra, his Montengrin counterpart, Duško Marković. The meeting made many headlines in the media however there was no information about the issues discussed on Saturday evening.

The news site reports that the government does not intend to give up on the issue of border demarcation with Montenegro. Kosovo government officials said if the recent proposal for measurement of the territory is not realized, there will be new initiatives to put an conclusion to this agreement. Kosovo’s Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Bajram Gecaj, told the news site the government will undertake new initiatives as it is vital for the citizens to resolve this issue. “We have taken this initiative, but we will see other options.
Bulliqi: Mustafa’s idea to measure the territory, yet another joke (gazetablic)
Kosovo Assembly MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), who is also professor of geography and one of the main opponents of the agreement on demarcation of the border with Montenegro, Shpejtim Bulliqi, objected the proposal of the Prime Minister of Kosovo on establishment of a new commission which would asses’ delineation of the border. He said that Mustafa’s idea is not the right one at all. According to him the territory cannot be measured without prior decision on the start points of the measurement.
