Haxhiu: Ignoring demands of opposition and citizens will produce new tensions (Koha)

Vetevendosje MP, Albulena Haxhiu, reacted to the findings of the Government’s Commission for measuring the territory of Kosovo saying that Vetevendosje had known all along what the commission’s conclusions would be. Haxhiu said that the way the commission was set up and the way its members were selected were a clear indicator as to what its results would be. “It is shameful and painful and even unacceptable to try to manipulate the public opinion by saying Cakorr is outside the territory of Kosovo,” Haxhiu wrote on her Facebook account.

Haxhiu calls AAK and NISMA hypocrites (Kosovapress)

Vetevendosje movement MP, Albulena Haxhiu, accused on her Facebook page the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA). Even though she did not mention these two parties, Haxhiu’s reaction came after the statements of the officials of AAK and NISMA that they do not have any red lines with regards to the governing coalitions.

PDK MP calls on PM Mustafa to dismiss Minister of Health (media)

Several media report that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Bekim Haxhiu has called on Prime Minister Isa Mustafa today to dismiss the Minister of Health, Imet Rrahmani, citing the grave situation of the healthcare system. Haxhiu wrote on Facebook: “Prime Minister you should dismiss Imet Rrahmani. Kosovo has the necessary potential and there are people both within and outside the coalition partners that can improve the situation in the healthcare system.

Vetevendosje MP Aida Derguti told a press conference in Pristina today that everyone is witnessing violations by police officers in the Kosovo Assembly and especially the attack on Vetevendosje MP Albulena Haxhiu. “Violence against members of parliament constitutes an unprecedented violation of competencies. The presence of police officers and the expulsion of MPs are illegitimate and no measure was taken against such actions. Neither the Speaker of Parliament nor the presidency is authorized to order such actions against the MPs,” Derguti said.

Kosovo Assembly MP from Vetevendosje movement, Albulena Haxhiu, wrote on her Facebook page that “the square of opposition will be filled with the citizens of the Republic.”

Albulena Haxhiu, a Vetevendosje MP and chair of the Kosovo Assembly’s committee on legislation, argues in her opinion piece that the five-page document on the formation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities and the agreement on telecommunications, the energy and the Iber Bridge, show that Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, Deputy PM Hashim Thaci and chief negotiator Edita Tahiri “are either so corrupt that they cannot say NO to anything that is presented to them or they are extremely ignorant”.

Opposition to send special court to Constitutional Court tomorrow (KosovaPress)

The Vetevendosje Movement MP, Albulena Haxhiu, told the news site that the opposition parties tomorrow will send a case to the Constitutional Court contesting the decision of the Assembly for the establishment of the special court. “We will send our case to the Constitutional Court to review in general the constitutional amendment in relation to Kosovo’s sovereignty and jurisdiction. We will send the case at 11:00 hrs tomorrow,” Haxhiu said.
