Kosovo: "Kill the Serb," KLA, and swastika graffiti (B92)

Graffiti reading "Kill the Serb," and "UCK," along with a swastika and other offensive content have been painted on a fast food kiosk in Gnjilane.

 

"UCK" is the Albanian language acronym for "Kosovo Liberation Army" (KLA).

According to the Silovo-based RTV Plus broadcaster, "these are the first anti-Serb graffiti to appear in the town in the past several years."

"Pristina uses dirty propaganda, but Serbs must remain calm" (B92)

In the dialogue with Pristina, Belgrade was brought to a situation to say "no" to one thing, in order to be blamed for everything, PM Aleksandar Vucic has said.

"Pristina is engaged in the dirties propaganda. My message to Serbs is this: don't fall for provocations, peace is our interest," Vucic said during a break in a meeting held in Raska on Thursday afternoon with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo.

According to him, Pristina's representatives "constantly changed their proposals during difficult conversations" in Brussels on Wednesday.

Brussels - High Representative the European Union Federica Mogherini expressed "regret that all sides in the dialogue" did not respect the last night's agreement in Brussels.

Russian experts say that such statements look like an attempt of their Western counterparts to "drive a wedge" between Russia and Serbia.

PM "lost trust in Pristina," not optimistic ahead of talks (B92)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday that he has "lost his trust in Pristina" and that for this reason, the dialogue in Brussels will be "difficult."

Speaking during a news conference with the chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Vucic added that he "above all" expects EU's "clear messages":

According to Deutsche Welle, talk about the possibility of France extraditing Ramush Haradinaj to the Special Court for KLA crimes is growing louder.

The head of the Serbian War Crimes Prosecution, Milan Petrovic, confirmed that this is a possibility, the German broadcaster said in a report published on its Serbian service website.

No confirmation from Vučić on alleged dismissal of Đurić; only ''bravo'' for the media in Kosovo (B92, Blic)

The Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić ironically congratulated the media from Kosovo who reported that he allegedly signed the dismissal of Marko Đurić.

Asked by reporters B92 in Davos on whether it is true that the head of the Office for KiM will be replaced, the prime minister did not give a negative or a positive answer, but said:

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the phone, and met with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg in Davos.
B92's Filip Cukanovic said these conversations regarded the situation in Kosovo and relations in the region, as well as "ways to solve the problems that have piled up."

Vucic today announced "a meeting with the Albanian side with the mediation of Brussels (EU) as early as next week."
