Ties with Moscow "won't slow down EU integration" (B92, Blic)

BELGRADE -- The discrepancy between the foreign policies of Serbia and the EU will not slow down the EU integration process and opening of the first chapters.

This is according to Tanja Miščević, head of Serbia's negotiating team in the EU accession talks.

"At this stage of our preparation for the opening of negotiating chapters, it is clear that the condition is to implement everything that has been agreed by the Brussels agreement," Miščević told the Belgrade daily Danas.

Serb house attacked in Klina (B92)

House of Drago Kunic in Klina was stoned last night in Klina/Klinë. Several windows on the house were broken in the incident.

The Head of Pec/Pejë District (administrative institution of Serbia)Vinka Radosavljevic said to Tanjug that incident took place last night around 09:00 PM and added that that family Kunic feels disturbed after incident. Drago Kunic was attacked last year on his property in Klina/Klinë. Around 40 Serb returnees live in Klina/Klinë.

Molotov cocktails in KM, Serb-owned car set on fire (B92)

MITROVICA -- The former town hall building in North Kosovska Mitrovica, where are now civil protection premises, came under attack twice on Sunday evening.

Unknown perpetrators first threw three Molotov cocktails at around 19:00 CET in front of a civil protection vehicle that was parked outside the former town hall building, and then stoned it at around 22:30, said eyewitnesses.

No one was injured and no damage was made in the attacks.

Match incident assassination of relations' normalization (Tanjug)

Marko Djuric, director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija, stated on Thursday that the incident which took place at the match between Serbia and Albania is an assassination attempt against normalization of relations.

The incident took place at a football match between Serbia and Albania at the Partizan Stadium in Belgrade on Tuesday evening when a flag with the insignia of 'Greater Albania' appeared over the pitch, sparking further incidents, which caused the match to be abandoned.

Serbian flag burnt in Kosovska Mitrovica (Blic, B92)

Unidentified persons burnt the flag of the Republic of Serbia, which was flying on the building of payment operations service in Kosovska Mitrovica, on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

The incident occurred in one of the main streets in Kosovska Mitrovica, and the burnt flag could be seen on the site early on Thursday.

Unidentified persons tried to remove the flag of the city of Kosovska Mitrovica, put up near the main bridge across the Ibar River, which separates the Serb-majority northern part of the city from the southern part populated by ethnic Albanians.

Vucic: I warned the EU about the incident (B92, Vecernje Novosti)

Incident in the match Serbia - Albania was organized action aimed at destroying stability in Serbia and the region, said Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic. He added that three hours before the match he warned the EU representatives on preparation of provocation. The inscriptions inside the Visoki Dečani medieval monastery's compound in Kosovo included the message "the caliphate is coming," and acronyms of the Islamic State (ISIS), the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA; Albanian: UCK), and the Albanian National Army (AKSH).

BELGRADE -- Marko Đurić has said that fundamentalist Islamic state ideology "has penetrated deep into the pores of society in this region as well."

According to the head of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo who spoke for the daily Večernje Novosti, this is confirmed by the fact that those who identify themselves as followers of the Islamic State, ISIS, "for the first time publicly called for the establishment of a global caliphate."
