Rada Trajkovic: Radoicic, if he surrenders, could become protected witness (Radio KIM)

Commenting on the media reports that Milan Radoicic has hired a lawyer Zivojin Jokanovic, Rada Trajkovic believes in case he decides to surrender, Radoicic could become a protected witness in the process of resolving the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Radio KIM reports.

She went on saying there are indications that Radoicic would surrender, and it is shown by a sudden visit of Marko Djuric to the north of Kosovo and “disturbance of Srpska Lista.”

“I am the future defense lawyer of Milan Radoicic, if he is brought before the justice,” Jokanovic said, adding he has a note of authorization.

Asked whether Radoicic requested that from him personally, Jokanovic responded it has been agreed already.

The three arrested Serbs are currently in detention in Podujevo.

A protest walk “One in Five Million” is announced to take place on Saturday, 2 February in Mitrovica North. According to the organizers it aims to show that inhabitants of this town, but also from other areas in Kosovo solidarize with the people protesting in major cities across Serbia for weeks and their requests, Radio KIM reports.

The gathering place is at Tzar Lazar Monument in the center of Mitrovica North, while the walk would end on the spot of Oliver Ivanovic murder, where the citizens would light candles.

Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic told Prva TV that Pristina took over responsibility, whether the murderers of Oliver Ivanovic would be found.

However, Belgrade, despite of Pristina’s behavior that is refusing any sort of cooperation, has certain indications as to who the murderer is, there are information “about moves of certain individuals from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as about departure to one western state.”

Fatherland Movement from Mitrovica North said in a press statement that Belgrade authorities had to do more over the last year in order to find organizers and those who have killed Oliver Ivanovic, KIM Radio reported.

The Movement recalled that in addition to Oliver Ivanovic, killers of Dimitrije Janicijevic, Oliver’s godfather who was killed on the same day five years ago, and killers of Ivica Rajcic and Milos Scepanovic remain unknown.
