Popovic-Ivkovic with representatives of Libya on Kosovo and Interpol (Kontakt plus radio)

Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs State Secretary Biljana Popovic-Ivkovic met with the representatives of the Embassy of Libya yesterday and presented Serbia’s arguments against consideration of the latest Pristina request to join Interpol, Radio kontakt plus reports. Popovic-Ivkovic noted that the latest Kosovo application represents violation of the Interpol decision of the last year, when Pristina request was rejected.

Libya will continue support for Kosovo (RTK)

President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, met today in New York the President of the Libyan Council of Deputies, Agila Saleh and discussed deepening of bilateral relations and mutual recognition of statehood. President Jahjaga called on Libya to support Kosovo in gaining membership in international organisations, particularly UNESCO. The Libyan official said Kosovo is an example of progress and that the Constitution of Kosovo is a model for the drafting of new Libyan constitution.
