Families of the kidnapped are meeting Vukcevic (TV Most)

A delegation of the Association of Families of Kidnapped and Missing Persons from Kosovo will meet on 7 September with the representatives of the Serbian Prosecution Office for War Crimes and discuss many difficult and painful issues, told president of the Association, Simo Spasic. "We have been waiting for this meeting for a long time ... We want to hear what the Prosecution has done so far and what to expect from the Special Court for crimes of the KLA," said Spasic.

Jevtic: ZSO is not against Albanians (TV Most)

Kosovo Minister of Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic said that the Community / Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is not aimed against Albanians.  Jevtic said that the ZSO is mechanism that will also help improvement of the life of Albanians, especially those living in the areas which will become a part of the ZSO. Belgrade denies "recognizing Kosovo" with the text of the agreement (TV Most)

The Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija has denied the claim made by Edita Tahiri, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, that Belgrade "recognized Kosovo."

According to Edita Tahiri, whose statement was carried earlier on Thursday by Beta agency, Serbia did this "through the agreement on energy" reached earlier this week, which, according to her, contains the term "the Republic of Kosovo."

Chairman of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija (KiM) Milovan Drecun met with the rapporteur of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Agustin Conde. They discussed the issues of human rights, establishment of democratic standards and the fight against corruption and organized crime in Kosovo.

Stojanovic: We will react to any violation of the rights of Serbs (RTS, KIM radio, TV Most)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic said today that all Serbs are interested in the case of the detention of the Civic Initiative leader SDP Oliver Ivanovic and that they would react each time when an individual's rights were threatened.

"So far we did not interfere as the political representatives, but now it becomes clear that this is no ordinary case and that some things are happening that are not regular in law and this we need to point out," said Stojanovic visiting the RTS.
