Serbs in Kosovo worried about EULEX departure (Blic)

Nearly 2 000 police officers, judges and prosecutors who worked for the EULEX mission in Kosovo in the past 10 years are withdrawing from Kosovo, and their responsibilities will be taken over by Kosovo institutions. Some Blic interlocutors point out that the gradual departure of KFOR soldiers can be expected, after which the space opens up for the formation of the Kosovo army and the completion of the Kosovo's independence.

President of the European Movement of Serbs and former deputy in the Assembly of Kosovo Rada Trajkovic told RTK2 that if Pristina is working on the establishment of the Community/Association of Serb-majority municipalities, it should work in a manner that implies the participation of Serbs because, as she says, if Serbs are not legitimized as participants then it means they are not working on it and it sends a worrying message.

“Srpska Lista must not vote for ratification of the demarcation agreement. No one authorized it to deal with “par excellence” state affairs,” President of the Serb European Movement, Rada Trajkovic told KIM Radio.

She further added that “involvement of Srpska Lista in the project of demarcation would essentially mean legalization of Kosovo, as a holder of a border with Montenegro and the annulment of the state of Serbia on that line”.

Rada Trajkovic told FoNet news agency that the international community makes a precedent because all the administrative borders of the former Yugoslavia have been turned into borders of newly emerged states and indicates that "the border with Montenegro and Macedonia is an essential state border of Serbia, " reported Serbian media.

She told FoNet that this is the level at which demarcations should be worked out and agreed upon.

Kosovo's independence did not satisfy Albanians (KIM radio)

“At the times when it was unthinkable, Rexhepi was able to talk to the Serb political representatives,” said Rada Trajkovic, to RTV KIM.

Although, they used to clash due to different political stances, Trajkovic, leader of the European Movement, said the death of Bajram Rexhepi is a loss to her.

Trajkovic also recalled that Bajram Rexhepi was a prosecution witness in a court trial against Oliver Ivanovic during which “he could accuse, but Rexhepi was not that kind of a man who wanted to set up the evidence or falsely testify against an innocent man.”
