Fatherland Movement: Vucic is truly fighting not for southern Serbian Province, but for creation of Greater Albania (NSPM)

This is what President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday, adding that he "believes we will not get less than what Serbia had been offered."

In an interview with Pink TV, Vucic pointed out that, while at it, "we are not fighting against the Albanians, but against many Western countries who are behind Kosovo's independence, including the United Kingdom."

Pacolli: Division would not be good for Serbs in Kosovo (Danas, BETA, N1)

Kosovo Foreign Minister Beghjet Pacolli assessed that division or exchange of territories between Serbia and Kosovo would not acceptable for majority of Kosovo citizens, and would be detrimental to the interests of Serbs, in particular those living in central parts of Kosovo, Serbian media reported.

Pacolli told Belgade-based daily Danas that change of borders within Kosovo and Serbia “would open Pandora’s box and become a point of dispute in the entire region.”

London to disallow discussion on Kosovo in UN (Vecernje Novosti, B92)

Great Britain takes over the presidency of the Security Council tomorrow and intends to block UN to hold a regular session on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija this month, Belgrade based-daily Vecernje Novosti writes today.

If this happens, it would be the first time that discussion on Kosovo is not hold on a quarterly basis, the daily added.

SNF: Unfulfilled promises from talks with Vucic (KIM Radio)

Six months after the talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the President did not fulfill any promise he made back then, Serb National Forum (SNF) said today, KIM Radio reported.

“All what you have promised, you did not fulfill. You continue to act, as if we have not met at all. However, the public and media are witnesses of that,” SNF further added.

Dusan Janjic: Division of Kosovo leads toward possibility of war (Danas, FoNet, RTV)

Serbian politicians do not understand Kosovo Serbs, they do not understand what division would mean in practice, and it would mean increasing possibility for a conflict, Director of Interethnic Relations Forum Dusan Janjic told Danas daily.

“This is not a simple thing. Serbs from the north have their suitcases packed already since they know it very well, clashes occur when territories are divided or changed,” Janjic said.

He added implementation of the wish for division of the exchange (of territories) of the Serbian authorities in fact is not realistic.

"We don't have any offers for Kosovo" (Prva TV, B92)

Kosovo and Metohija Office Director Marko Djuric spoke on Monday morning for Prva TV about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

"Most Western countries think that the issue of Kosovo is a rounded off story. We are talking both with the Russians and with the Americans and with the Chinese and with everyone who has the idea of ​​a compromise solution," said Djuric.

He added that there is still no solution for the issue of Kosovo, and that when one is in sight, "the citizens of Serbia will be informed about it."

Assessment of depleted uranium harmful effects to start in August in Vranje (BETA, B92)

Discovering facts about the harmful effects of depleted uranium on the population of Serbia would start at the end of August or beginning of September in Vranje, BETA news agency reported.

The news was announced by the chairperson of the Investigative Commission of NATO bombardment consequences, Darko Laketic.

Laketic also said he believes the first preliminary report can be done by 2020, since documentation received from the Italian Parliamentary Commission (on the consequences of depleted uranium on Italian soldiers who were in Kosovo in 1999) is very useful.

Dacic: USA ready to support compromise for Kosovo (Tanjug, RTS)

USA administration is ready to offer support to Serbia in finding a compromise solution for Kosovo issue, and that is very positive for Serbia at this moment, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told Tanjug news agency.

Dacic also expressed impression that the current situation in relation between the two states is different comparing to the previous times and he has informed Serbian President Vucic about that, news agency continued.
