"Whenever EU talks about something else, they mean Kosovo" (Vecernje Novosti, Tanjug, B92)

A broad consensus and the will of a majority in our society must exist for a legally binding agreement with Pristina to be reached.

President Aleksandar Vucic said this in an interview published on Wednesday by Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti.

Asked whether Serbia could sign a legally-binding agreement with the so-called "Kosovo" - and still not be allowed to join the EU, the Serbian president replied that he "would not view it as a barter."

Belgrade forbid the Radicals' rally; they say will go ahead (N1)

Serbia’s Interior Ministry (MUP) said on Tuesday they had banned rallies that the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) planned during the “Mirëdita, dobar dan” festival, but the radicals said they would hold it, reports regional broadcaster N1.

Guinea-Bissau unambiguously supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

The country also respects UN Resolution 1244 which confirms that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia.

This has been stated in Belgrade on Tuesday by President of the Assembly of Guinea-Bissau and President of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union Cipriano Cassama.

Cassama described Serbia as a rich and developed country.

Some Albanians agree partition is solution for Kosovo – FM (Tanjug, B92)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says some Albanian officials told him partition would be the best solution for Kosovo and Metohija.

"I still, for example, claim that Albanians, if we were to sit down and talk to them without their mentors, would agree to a partition of Kosovo, because that is a good solution for them, too. Some Albanian leaders also told me this openly," explained Dacic.

He said they told him the idea was an acceptable and best solution to them as well.

McAllister: Rule of law….Vucic: I have nothing to add (BETA)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and European Parliament Rapporteur, David McAllister assessed last night Serbia is progressing on its path towards the EU, however, rule of law reforms and Kosovo remain the major challenges, BETA news agency reported.

At a joint press conference, McAllister said that 2018 is a crucial year for the Western Balkans, as it is in the focus of EU again, and has an opportunity to realize its European perspective.

Vucic on Kosovo: I will seek to convince people (B92)

We will be ready to talk to Albanians at any time, but we expect the Brussels agreement to be fulfilled, says President Aleksandar Vucic.

According to him, Albanians say that they have no intention of fulfilling the obligations from the Brussels agreement, "which says they have courage and daring, but also someone's support."
