The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, posted on his Facebook page the picture where the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, are shaking hands. Rama called the picture “Photo of the Day.”

This shaking of hands happened at the Vienna Economic Forum which is being held in Tirana.

Even though Belgrade had staged a public drama due to non-participation of Pristina at the meeting in Brussels that was meant to mark the start of the dialogue on creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities in Kosovo, political analyst Dušan Janjić said to Danas that Prime Ministers of Serbia and Kosovo, Aleksandar Vučić and Isa Mustafa, agreed earlier that EU will held separate talks with negotiation sides in the initial phase of the dialogue over creation of the A/CSM.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, stated during his speech at the Vienna Economic Forum which is being held in Tirana, that it is important to build peace in this part of Europe in order for the people to live in better conditions.

“We will transform our disagreements into bridges of cooperation, this is our goal, as Kosovo,” said Mustafa. According to him, Kosovo will overcome its current challenges through cooperation with the other countries of the region.

TIRANA - Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Goran Svilanovic qualified the visit of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Albania as a historic occasion that constitutes a great opportunity.

It is a historic event and this is not said lightly, Svilanovic told Tanjug and added that decades have passed and no visits by Serbian government official to Tirana like this one occurred. This visit is important as it constitutes a truly great opportunity, he noted.

The Prime Minister of Albania, stated at the press conference after his meeting with Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, that Albanians in the south of Serbia deserve to have the same treatment as Serbs in northern Kosovo. “I believe that this is in the spirit of our joint effort to achieve on the relations of the region with the power of example and not with the example of power. I have never heard about any complaint from Serbs who live in Albania.

Platform of the President Tomislav Nikolic on Kosovo is not in accordance with the Serbian Constitution, it is unenforceable and for political daily use.

Serbia's Prime Minister has given a cool response to leaks of the President's platform on Kosovo, which has not been revealed in entirety but, according to the daily newspaper Politika, TV B92 and some other media, offers Kosovo only the status of a province within Serbia.

The President of the non-parliamentary Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Cedomir Jovanovic assessed today that President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic is jeopardizing the future of the country with his statements about Serbia’s undetermined position and with platform on Kosovo, which according to him, is not based on reality.

If a platform of the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic becomes a document over which Belgrade would like to negotiate with Pristina and the EU, Serbia would find itself in a serious trouble.

This was said unofficially to Blic by sources from the European Commission in Brussels, who also stressed that EC did not receive Nikolic’s platform, thus they can only comment it based on media reports.
