Survey: What citizens of Serbia think about the solution to the Kosovo issue (Blic, B92, TV Most)

The latest survey of the Belgrade based agency Faktor Plus, in cooperation with daily Blic, shows that the citizens of Serbia are not optimistic about the solution of the Kosovo problem, they do not expect Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to sign the recognition of Kosovo, and most of them think that the problem will not be resolved soon

Mojsilovic: Security situation unpredictable (TV Most)

Serbian Army Chief-of-Staff General Milan Mojsilovic said yesterday the security situation remains unchanged, respectively, still unpredictable foremost due to Kosovo and Metohija, TV Most reported.

Deputy Chair of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Main Board and Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said yesterday Vuk Jeremic, leader of the Peoples’ Party (NS) handed over to the Kosovo Albanians international confirmation on the legality of unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo “on the plate,” TV Most reports.

In a written statement distributed to the media, Djuric said Jeremic should look in the mirror first before daring to say a word ‘grand-treason’ because he would see the face there that suits that description the best.

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic has told public broadcaster RTS that Serbia is "a small, but not a stupid country." He added that while Belgrade talks about compromise and dialogue, Pristina and Tirana are looking for ways to create ‘Greater Albania’ - an expansionist nationalist project at the expense of Albanians' neighbors - and do it under the table.

The meeting of the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Hashim Thaci in Tirana represents a pinnacle of insolence by the Albanian politicians, Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said last night.

Dacic’s statement came as a reaction to the topics of the meeting that included national unification of Albanians, abolishing the borders between Albania and Kosovo, as well as merging three southern Serbia’s municipalities with Kosovo.

While the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was preparing for his flight from Rome to Tirana and sending messages on the need to calm down the situation in the region, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said from Tirana that “it is time to create an Albanian space without borders and to sensitize the rights of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac to join Kosovo,” KoSSev portal reported.

Thaci sent this message after the meeting with Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama in Tirana yesterday.
