Simic: Decision to keep EMS in Kosovo a great relief for Serbs (RTS)

The decision of the European Energy Agency on the Elektromreza Srbije (Electric network of Serbia) to remain a part of the energy system in Kosovo has brought great relief to the Serbs in Kosovo, says Deputy of the Serbian List Igor Simic.

Simic told in the RTS News that energy independence and security of citizens and economy in four municipalities in the north of Kosovo is of huge importance.

Merkel disappointed over the moves of Pristina (Dnevnik, Blic, Tanjug)

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Paris yesterday, understood the latest moves of Pristina as a major obstacle in further continuation of the dialogue, writes Belgrade-based daily Blic.

According to Blic, during the meeting, prior to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, held at the initiative of the German Chancellor, Vucic particularly insisted on Pristina's decision to increase customs duties on goods from Serbia and BiH.

More than seventy world leaders attended a ceremony in Paris on November 11, marking the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that brought World War One to an end. The central commemoration was held at the Triumphant Gate, near the western end of the Champs-Élysées. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo President Hashim Thaci also attended the ceremony, KoSSev portal reports.

Kremlin confirmation: Putin plans to visit Serbia in January (N1)

Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to visit Serbia in January, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said on Friday during a visit to Belgrade, Russian news agency TASS reports.

"We consider today's talks an important step in preparing the planned visit of Putin to Serbia for January next year," Borisov said at a meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.

Russia on dialogue in Brussels (Tanjug)

Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov said the EU efforts to mediate between Belgrade and Pristina have failed and that the USA is forcing creation of Kosovo army, Tanjug news agency reports today.

It is obvious the EU efforts have failed, because Pristina rejected to implement all the agreements reached so far,” Lavrov said. Russian Minister added he thinks foremost to the Community of Serb Municipalities.

Only 8 percent of citizens have no stance on resolution of Kosovo issue (Tanjug, RTS)

CeSID Executive Director, Bojan Klacar said the latest researches indicate that only 8 percent of Serbian citizens have no stance on the resolution of Kosovo and Metohija issue, Tanjug news agency reported.

Presenting the results of the survey, at 6th Belgrade NATO Week, Klacar said when asked about their stances on delineation in a referendum, 36 percent of respondents said they would vote for, 34 percent would vote against, while 22 percent would not turn out.

Dacic: Pristina undermines dialogue (RTS)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told RTS that Pristina with its acts and decisions undermines the dialogue with Belgrade, and it is their tactic. He added, it is not about childish games, but about rather perfidious game that seriously threatens the entire region.

Dacic made these remarks speaking for the RTS news edition, noting it was logical to expect, President Vucic would respond to the call for dialogue in Brussels, despite of Pristina’s decision to increase taxes on goods from Serbia by 10 percent.

Drecun: Unilateral Pristina’s acts destabilize dialogue (RTS)

A series of unilateral Pristina’s acts destabilize the dialogue and prevent its continuation, Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS morning news edition.

Commenting on Pristina’s initiative to join Interpol, Drecun said Serbia is making utmost efforts to prevent that and that many Interpol member states now completely understand what Pristina wants.
