"Kosovo can only get UN chair through agreement with Serbia" (Tanjug, B92, TV Happy)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic says there is "no chance Kosovo will get a chair in the United Nations, except an agreement with Serbia."

He said that Kosovo cannot get a place in the UN "under such conditions of political polarization and the existence of a multi-polar world."

Vucic also pointed out that "Serbia must have something" out of that agreement - instead of "have nothing and be humiliated."

Vuk Jeremic says that he still believes that a decision made in 2010 to change Serbia's draft UN General Assembly resolution on Kosovo was "completely wrong."

Pacolli: Serbia "doesn't have to say it recognized Kosovo" (Deutche Welle, Tanjug, B92)

Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli said in an interview with Deutsche Welle (in Serbian) that Serbia "does not have to say that it recognizes Kosovo." It only has to "act like that," he said.

Pacolli argued that "the reality is that Serbia can influence the region", that Kosovo has "a long border with Serbia" and that in Pristina they want to have "good relations with Serbia."

UNPD report: 335 persons from Kosovo registered in Syria, 54 women and 27 children (KoSSev portal)

335 citizens from Kosovo are registered in Syria, including 54 women and 27 children, the UNDP report on factors contributing to join radical networks in Syria and other war zones said, KoSSev portal reported.

Those who are going there are between 18 and 25 years old, while 72 percent are unemployed. According to official figures, 52 persons from Kosovo died in a war in Syria.

Ljajic: Counter measures towards Kosovo, until it abolishes taxes on flour (RTK2, Beta)

Serbian Minister of Trade Rasim Ljajic says that Serbia will be increasing and strengthening counter measures towards Kosovo, until the authorities in Pristina do not abolish taxes on imports of flour from Serbia, reports RTK2, quoting the Beta news agency.

"We have some announcement that this decision will be abolished, but it is not said when," Ljajic said.

Belgrade checks Kosovo's recognition list (Vecernje Novosti)

According to the daily newspaper Vecernje Novosti, Belgrade in the coming months will determine through "a comprehensive diplomatic action" how many precisely states have recognised the independence of Kosovo.

As the daily writes, there are doubts that the list of recognitions presented by the authorities in Pristina is not credible, because of which Belgrade decided to check the situation 'on the ground'.

TIRANA – The governments of Albania and Kosovo signed Monday on the joint meeting in Korça 12 agreements and understanding memorandums between the two countries, materializing the continuum of Strategic Partnership between the two countries.

Overall, the two governments have signed four cooperation agreements on social insurance and integration and eight memorandums on electricity, Diaspora, environment, culture, foreign investments as well as on veterinary certificates.

Dacic on change of negotiation's format, Pristina's UN ambition (Tanjug, TV Prva, B92, RTS)

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says he does not believe that a change to the format of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is possible.

Speaking for Prva TV late on Monday, Dacic also said that he had no information that former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice could become her country's special envoy for the Balkans.

"I saw Condoleezza about 20 days ago in the UAE. I also met with John Kerry. They have been freed, so to speak, of their political obligations. She didn't tell me that she had such ambitions, and we spoke about it publicly," Dacic stressed.

Dacic: Pristina has "at least 7 or 8 made up recognitions" (Novosti, Tanjug, B92)

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says the list of countries that have recognized Kosovo contains "at least seven or eight made up recognitions."

Dacic reiterated that if Serbia seriously approaches this problem, that number could fall below 100.

Dacic also said, in an interview with the daily Vecernje Novosti published on Monday, that Serbia will check all information concerning the claim that Madagascar had recognized Kosovo.
