Border police in Jarinje requests from the bus drivers, among other documents, so called passenger lists, with the names of citizens who are coming from central Serbia to Kosovo and vice versa.

Clerk of Transportation Company ” Kosmetprevoz ” Dragan Zivkovic said today that in the last few days there is frequent pressure on bus drivers, from which the police in Jarinje is requesting so called passenger’ lists, with names of passengers.

Zivkovic said in a statement for the Mitrovica Radio Contact Plus that requested lists are necessary only at border crossings. Currently, Police only warn drivers. He added that the usually, the way from warning till the implementation is short and that competent authorities should respond, in order to end that practice.

Zivkovic said that this is not the case only with his company, but with all other transportation companies, which are driving over Jarinje.
