U.S. judge Robert Carolan will no longer serve as a judge with the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. Sources told Koha Ditore that Carolan turned down another mandate with the court. “His departure has to do with the fact that he was the only one not to agree with the two latest decisions of the Constitutional Court – the decision on the candidate for the forming of the government and the decision on the Assembly President,” the source said. Another source told Koha Ditore that Carolan had remarks about his contract and that he was reportedly not satisfied with the salary. The paper could not get a comment from Carolan on the matter.
