Leader of Alliance for Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said after a meeting of the post-election bloc that “there is no power in the world to force us to make a coalition with PDK”. He said they are not refusing meeting the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Hashim Thaci, but that they simply don’t want him as a coalition partner.

“We cannot enter a coalition with a party that is destroying the state. It is time for PDK to reflect and give way”, said Haradinaj. He added that someone should make it clear to Thaci that the fact the US Senator Christopher Murphy cut short his agenda for the Kosovo visit by deciding to only meet President Atifete Jahjaga is a sign that Thaci should give way. Haradinaj also said that the Bloc will clarify positions and future actions during the week.
