Kosovo’s President, Atifete Jahjaga, and the United Kingdom Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Sexual Violence in Conflict, Baroness Joyce Anelay, visited the “Medica Gjakova” center in Gjakove/Djakovica today.
In a statement made on this occasion, President Jahjaga said, “We have come here to the center ‘Medica Gjakova’, to see the extraordinary work that has been done here for 16 years. I want to  thank this center for the outstanding work they have done, for all services provided to all the victims of violence and torture during the war in Kosovo.” Jahjaga also said that the presence of Baroness Anelay is the best proof that the violence victims in Kosovo have the support of the international community.
