Government to present report on visa liberalization on 15 January (Koha)

Representatives of the Kosovo institutions have pledged to prepare a final report on the fulfillment of the criteria for visa liberalization by 15 January 2016. A press release issued by the government said that Prime Minister Isa Mustafa met with representatives of the institutions in charge for fulfilling the visa liberalization criteria where it was said that concrete results on this regard will be published on 15 January.  During the meeting, representatives reported to the PM on the progress achieved in fulfilling the recommendations and concluded unanimously that there has been maximal progress in meeting seven of the eight points of recommendations by the European Commission. “In the meeting was concluded that there is still the unresolved issue of the facility of the Ombudsman,” reads the press release.  “Mustafa appreciated the dedication and thanked the institutions and all citizens of Kosovo for their contributions in advancing the European integration way, reaffirming full commitment of the government to work maximally to the full and quick fulfillment of European integration aspirations.”
