Establishment of Kosovo army is the most direct attack against regional peace and stability, as well as the most flagrant violation of the international law, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric said during the meeting with German Ambassador to Belgrade, Thomas Schieb, Radio KIM reports.

Djuric also voiced concern over the continuation of destabilization of the region, caused by Pristina’s unilateral and provocative acts.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic warned on Tuesday that there was a growing danger of further radicalization in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian Government announced.

During the meeting with German Bundestag and Free Democrats' Party member Renata Alt, Brnabic said this danger was due to a series of moves that Pristina has taken over the past month.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government has called on interim Kosovo institutions to "end a trade war" with Belgrade, B92 reports.

Merkel's spokesperson Steffen Seibert said Germany has "zero understanding" for Pristina imposing a 100 percent tax on products from central Serbia.

He also told Bloomberg agency that Germany "would have preferred Serbia to allow Kosovo to join Interpol." "We hope that both sides quickly return to dialogue," Seibert said.

It is assumed that French President Emmanuel Macron could support the idea of ​​"border correction" which should resolve the Belgrade-Pristina dispute.

Recently appointed German Ambassador in Belgrade Thomas Schieb told TV N1 the official Berlin has not changed its stance on a possible demarcation between Serbia and Kosovo.

He said Germany’s stance on the issue has been clear for some time and added that other European countries and Serbia’s neighbors have been expressing reservations about the idea of demarcation.

The Belgrade daily Blic claims that the US and the most influential European countries are concerned already about the co-operation and contacts held by top officials of Moscow and representatives of Pristina authorities.

Blic says that more diplomatic sources confirmed that all presidents of influential Western countries ask about this newly built relationship within the EU institutions.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic participated late on Monday in the "Serbia in the EU" European Forum held at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin.

According to the Serbian government, Brnabic told the gathering that her country's strategic commitment is membership in the EU, whereas maintaining stability and developing regional cooperation of essential importance for the country.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Paris yesterday, understood the latest moves of Pristina as a major obstacle in further continuation of the dialogue, writes Belgrade-based daily Blic.

According to Blic, during the meeting, prior to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, held at the initiative of the German Chancellor, Vucic particularly insisted on Pristina's decision to increase customs duties on goods from Serbia and BiH.

More than seventy world leaders attended a ceremony in Paris on November 11, marking the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that brought World War One to an end. The central commemoration was held at the Triumphant Gate, near the western end of the Champs-Élysées. Germany's position that Serbia cannot join the EU until it recognizes the independence of Kosovo "is only a Germany's position."
