The panel ''Novo Brdo – between historical truth and political lies'' was held at the Cultural and Educational Center ''Bozidar Mitrovic Sandor '' in Silovo on Friday evening.

Speaking about the attempt to turn the cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas into a Catholic church, history professor Dr. Bozidar Zarkovic underlined that it is ''fake'' and that there are ''no scientific basis and historical evidence'' to support such claims.

Vladan Vukosavljevic, Serbia's Minister of Culture and Information, warned UNESCO on Wednesday about the state of Serbia’s cultural heritage in Kosovo, following "the forgery of the historical facts about the Serb Orthodox St. Nikola's church in Novo Brdo," the FoNet news agency reported.

In a letter to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, Vukosavljevic listed "a permanent" attacks on Serb monuments and the forgery of history, especially since the declaration of Kosovo's independence in 2008.

Diocese of Raska-Prizren issued a statement with f=great concern over the information that announced the beginning of construction work on the site of an old Serbian medieval church, St. Nicholas, which was the cathedral church for the Serbian Orthodox bishops of Novo Brdo and Gracanica, and which is located near the Novo Brdo fortress.

Radio KiM reports that the remains of the Orthodox Church of St Nicholas in Novo Brdo is being converted by Pristina authorities into a three-necked basilica, which is a great forgery, warned Marko Popovic, co-author of the monograph dedicated to the church.

Popovic claims that a part of the conservation works has already been done, and on the board in front of the site, a reconstruction project has been shown that has nothing to do with the actual situation, reported KIM radio.

Novo Brdo: The fifth theft of cattle in less than fifteen days (RTV Puls, KoSSev)

Unknown perpetrators stole a cow and a calf from the Savic family from the Izvor village in the municipality of Novo Brdo on the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The damage is estimated at approximately 2.000 EUR. Two cows were taken from the same family five years ago. The perpetrators have still not been found.

Novo Brdo police commander replaced (RTV Puls)

In his statement, Ivanovic says that thefts are more frequent in the last period, and that in the last year and a half in this municipality more cattle were stolen, as well as cars, reports this radio.

Gorazdevac: A new series of livestock theft (Kossev)

During the last night, two vehicles and livestock were stolen in Serbian households in Gorazdevac. According to Radio Gorazdevac a van was stolen from Misko Jovanovic, and Branko Stevanovic's vehicle has disappeared from the backyard.

On the same night, from the stables of the Portic family, a cow with calf was stolen. These events disturbed the local population, Radio Gorazdevac reported.

Thefts were reported to the police that started the investigation.

Two buses with voters stopped at the crossing Bela Zemlja (RTV Puls)

More than a hundred displaced persons from Jagodina, Smederevo, Belgrade and other places from central Serbia, were stopped today at the administrative crossing Bela Zemlja - Končulj. They came to vote in the municipality of Novo Brdo, reports RTV Puls.
As RTV Pulse learns from eyewitnesses, the Kosovo police do not allow the entry of two buses with plates of the Serbian city Nis because they do not have a Kosovo license for the carriage of passengers and a green card.
