Government to "react" to French court's decision on Friday (Serbian media)

First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić said Thursday the government would not react today to the release from custody in France of Ramush Haradinaj.

Serbian state broadcaster RTS is reporting that Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has scheduled a meeting of his cabinet for Friday, "during which a decision will be made."

Haradinaj, a Kosovo Albanian politician and former KLA commander, was arrested last week in France on a Serbian war crimes warrant.

Danger of terrorist acts in Kosovo is now "high" (Serbian media)

Milovan Drecun said on Wednesday that "incidents cannot be ruled out" in the coming period, "due to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija."

The chairman of the Serbian National Assembly's Committee on Kosovo and Metohija said this particularly in view of the arrest of Ramush Haradinaj, adding that the danger of terrorist acts being carried out in Kosovo was "high."

The Serbian War Crimes Prosecution has decided to expand the indictment against former KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army") leader Ramush Haradinaj.

The decision was made because the Prosecution has new evidence, N1 broadcaster has reported.

The evidence concerns Haradninaj's responsibility for war crimes committed in Kosovo that were not previously considered by the Hague Tribunal, and represent an addition to the evidence already submitted to France.

Serbia seeks protection of its embassies (Serbian media)

The Serbian Foreign Ministry asked some countries to reinforce security of Serbian diplomatic offices which, according to security information, are potential targets of Albanian terrorists. Diplomats in those embassies have received precise instructions from Belgrade about raising precautionary measures to the highest level.

Information about Albanians' plan to attack a Serbian embassy over the arrest of Ramush Haradinaj came from a security service of a western country.

This is what Beta reported Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic as telling state broadcaster RTS, who also rejected claims of Serbia "making it up, or planning to do this itself in order to blame the Albanians."

"Consequences of Kosovo in UNESCO would be unforeseeable" (media)

Should Kosovo become a UNESCO member, the consequences for the Serb identity and cultural heritage in the province would be unforeseeable.

This is according to Serbian Ambassador to UNESCO Darko Tanaskovic.

In that case, UNESCO documents would list medieval Serbian monuments, churches and monasteries as cultural assets in the territory of a "state of Kosovo", rather than in Serbia, Tanaskovic has told Jedinstvo.

Vučić: I have full confidence in Vulin (media)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić said that on Monday, 26 December, "all with the Serbian list will be resolved". Part of the Serbian List's MPs returned to the Kosovo Assembly despite Belgrade's opposition.

Vučić said that he has a lot of trust in Aleksandar Vulin, President of Socialists Movement.

"I have full confidence in Vulin and this is not about him or his party," Vučić told the Radio Television of Serbia.

Second place for the best cooperation with the media went to the Cultural Center in Gračanica, and the third to Slavko Simić, the Head of the Serbian List.

Community of Serb Municipalities as "key issue" (media)

Establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) is a key issue raised by Belgrade's delegation with EU representatives in Brussels.

Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, said this on Tuesday.

Although it has committed itself to this at the top political level, Pristina is still unwilling to discuss the topic, he said, according to Tanjug.
