Vecernje Novosti: United States encourage Thaci and Mustafa to form Kosovo government? (Serbian media)

Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti writes in today’s edition that Albin Kurti's victory on the elections held on Sunday in Kosovo may turn out to be a Pyrrhic victory.

According to the daily, Washington suddenly throws into a game a coalition of Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa into forming a future government in Pristina.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said last night that the “Greater Albania” project and the erasure of Serbia and Serbs from the map are the backbone of Albin Kurti’s program, saying that he does not want to talk to Serbs which were elected by Serbs's votes.

Among the Kosovo Serb parties, the absolute winner of this Kosovo election is the Serbian List party, portal KoSSev writes.

This party has achieved its goal and won 10 out of 10 parliamentary seats reserved for the Serbian community and will be the only Serbian parliamentary party in the next Assembly of Kosovo (unless something changes when votes are officially counted, including votes by mail and conditional votes).

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic held a conference last night at the Palace of Serbia declaring the Serbian List victory in Kosovo’s elections on Sunday 6 October.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said Serbs face stark and brutal discrimination ahead of Kosovo elections.

He pointed out that the only way to combat discrimination is to achieve a massive turnout in the October 6th elections.

Djuric told RTS that the Serbian List was forbidden to say "Serbia is calling," and others are not punished for saying that "Serbian List is a monster."

SNS offers transport to displaced Serbs from Kosovo to vote for Serbian List (KoSSev, N1)

The ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) branch in the central city of Kraljevo, said it called on some 20,000 Serbs displaced from Kosovo and living in the city to go to Kosovo and vote for Serbian List in Sunday’s elections, local TV reported.

Vesna Milojevic, a local SNS official, said that “Serbian List is the only grantor of the Serbs’ survival” in Kosovo, adding the party managed to unite all Serbs there.

Coalition Freedom, Rasic: Those not being loyal to Serb List fired daily; two arrests (RFE, Beta, N1)

Nenad Rasic, Kosovo Serb opposition politician and the Coalition Freedom candidate for Prime Ministers in the elections on Sunday, told Radio Free Europe (RFE) that the campaign was conducted in "abnormal conditions," the Beta news agency reported on Wednesday.

He said that "everyday someone gets fired because they are not loyal to Serbian List. There is no person who hasn't been called at least five times."

Odalovic told Radio television of Serbia (RTS) this morning that it is evident that Albanians cannot calculate and manipulate the Serbian List, so they try in other ways.
