As many as 62 percent of Serbian citizens believe elections in Kosovo will not significantly affect the flow of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, according to a study by the Factor Plus agency.

According to the same survey, 16 percent of Serbian citizens believe that negotiations will stop completely, 10 percent that it will accelerate and be closer to agreement, while 12 percent said they did not know the answer to this question.

Belgrade based daily Danas reports that police in Pristina yesterday seized two mobile phones without a reason from a member of the Central Election Commission, a representative of the Serb List, Stevan Veselinovic.

However, Kosovo only had 1,795,666 million residents in 2018, according to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics. This substantial difference between the number of registered voters and the estimated population has been greatly discussed in the Kosovo public.
